Are you asking if someone has installed a 4 wire trailer harness?

I'm assuming you did not get the factory hitch option?

The easiest (only?) way of doing this would be to get to the back of the taillights and piggyback off of those wires to trigger your 4 wire harness (assuming you've purchased a kit that just needs the triggers for each output). On the taillight the wire functions are labelled, so it should be pretty easy to see which wires you'll need

Installed CARROFIX Non-Powered Taillight Converter with 20" Inches Leads and 60" Inches 4-Wire Flat Extension Vehicle End Connector from Amazon. Remove Right rear trim panel. 6 bolts and trim clips. Wire harness is easy to get to.

Oh that's interesting... You don't have the TRM but you have the harness going to it; that makes it much more convenient.

What is the build date of your vehicle? (or the last 5 of your VIN)

Installed the 4 pin self closing cover down by hitch. Ran wires through thruhole in floor next to wire harness. 2 rubber grommets. One inside and one under car. Super easy.

I gave this guy a shot. Though I tapped into the same wires up at the Towing Module plug. There was a little confusion on colors, but the color coding posted above was largely correct minus to primary colors being swapped with their stripe colors. I believe it’s the RT and Tail that you will want to flip the colors. Otherwise this method works. That said, if you have a trailer with lots of lights this unpowered setup might not work well. I plugged in my Nautiques trailer and it immediately threw codes in the Grenadier. But my Nautiques trailer has some fancy LEDs with some logic that the Grenadier does not appreciate. I assume it’s too much load. So I will likely move on to a powered converter and see what that does.

But I can confirm the trigger wires and the functionality with a smaller load trailer light system.

Additionally, there is a round grommet way in the back corner that exits the cab cleanly. The oval grommet just below the trailer wiring harness does not exit the truck.
