... and I swear that I could smell it... It doesn't smell like new car to me. It has the 'mechanical' new car smell, but also I think the leather adds something? Psychologically, I attribute it to the saddle leather.

I've heard of smells triggering memories, but I've not heard of cognition forming a smell halucination- a smellucitation? Holy crap, there is a word for it: Phantosmia
