VIN 9xx, FM, diesel
seems to be ok.
But a friend of mine can not collect his car, which arrived at his dealers yard yesterday, because of the damn lights 😕

Hm, I don't have the 'V2' ones. Mine look like the one form @bemax post.

Which one is now the type with the problem?

Ok, I think the "V2" versions are the suspicious ones. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

What makes me wonder is, that there are versions with and without a "V2" marking which all have three poles on the middle LED. But @bemax' above has four? 🤔

Mine are like @bemax' and have four poles as well. Thankfully on both sides ...

EDIT: corrected, see DCPU's post and my update here.

Just checked mine. In the spirit of Billy Smarts Circus.

First one (drivers side) - is the non affected one.

Great me thinks. Just check passenger side.

Oh the laughing starts 😂 😆 😝

It’s a V2 version.

Do I have a crossed eyed IG now as well.

Netflix should make it into a film, I like a good comedy.

@Jean Mercier ~ I'm more and more convinced you bought one of the PTOs rather than a production series vehicle...

Anyway, you've piqued my interest, off to write an email to Nolden... 📝

It’s one of my all time favourites Jean. I absolutely loved listening to it as a kid. Still makes me smile now, imagining him driving down the road with a parts bin special 😂

Is that the middle lens or the lower one? I have 3 poles in the middle lens, but 4 in the lower.

🫢 then perhaps it is the car of @DCPU that is a PTO (abbreviation for prototype) :devilish:
If I'm reading the approval details correctly, you have original spec versions, and I have later 4th revision versions... 😝

My stab at decoding the writing on the headlights:

1b A RL HCR PL 17.5 E24 148R00 149R00 ‪6196 0004‬

I think:

1b = front direction indicator lamp
A = front position lamp to be installed at any distance from
passing beam headlamp or front fog lamp
RL= daytime running lights
HC = Passing beam headlamp of Class B (asymmetrical)
R= Driving beam headlamp of Class A
PL = plastic lens
17.5 = reference mark (I′M) of the maximum luminous intensity
E24 = Ireland (country where type approval was undertaken)
148R = UN Regulation on uniform provisions concerning the approval of light-signalling devices (lamps) for power-driven vehicles and their trailers
00 = series of amendments in force at the time of issue of the approval
149R =Uniform provisions concerning the approval of road illumination
devices (lamps) and systems for power-driven vehicles
00 = series of amendments in force at the time of issue of the approval
6196 = Unique Identifier approval number
0004 = revisions to approval under approval number
