Update:
Shout out to the BD team in Melb. and Brisbane.
I'd emailed them on the weekend with photos seeking help to reinstall the wheelarch liner which had me truly stumped. Phonecall from BD yesterday morning and by lunchtime I was at Deception Bay warehouse where Ben and Craig made some changes to the fill tube and rubber connector and had the liner in place about an hour later.
My experience has been quite positive in that BD are continuously reviewing and are attentive to constructive customer feedback.
For Queenslanders going the DIY route, the Qld Transport and Main Roads. dept requires an inspection and authorised "blue label" as the tank falls under the notifiable vehicle modification requirements. There are several mobile mechanics who specialise in this certification. I've got the contact from BD for a chap in the Bris metro area who is familiar with the BD /LRA fitment requirements for the Grenadier. Apart from the TMR, it's also a requirement for insurance....
