Grenadier Servicing Price Australia

I had mine serviced last week.
One campaign.
IAMWO003355 - 23MY SOFTWARE UPDATE 1.4
$1002 - Done by Townsville BMW
Since the software update, the indicated fuel usage shown has matched the actual first click calculated useage.
That may be a coincidence, but it is good to see reliable fuel useage figures and can maybe even trust the remaining range.

Has anyone been in contact with 4x4 Garage in Canberra recently?

I'm waiting on replacement parts to fix my non-funtional AC and haven't been able to contact them for the past few weeks. Both the sales / service number and the Service Managers Mobile keep going to a full voicemail. I would go there in person, but I'm currently interstate.

I can drive past tomorrow either to / from work and see what's going on. I've just moved to CBR so need to check them out too for servicing, updates and warranty work

That would be great. Otherwise I'll be back in town later this week so will drop by and chase up my warranty work

Gday mate, I dropped in there this morning, it was all locked up but when I called them someone eventually came out. They’ve lost their front of house member so they’re a bit behind in that space

I too have had trouble contacting the 4x4 Garage in Canberra. I am waiting on door locks and also a door seal problem to be fixed for the front passenger door. I sent a few emails and left a phone message with the service manager. Eventually they got in touch last Monday.
Unfortunately, the fix for the door locks is still in limbo, with a redesign in the works apparently. I, and others, are apparently on a list to be contacted once the fix is released. No ETA at this stage.
The front deal seal is retaining water between the outer and inner seal. Apparently, according to the service manager, there has been talk of a redesign of the door seals, and this is the reason for the delay. However, none of the other doors have the same issue, so it looks like a trip into the dealer for them to figure whether the seal is just in the wrong place and covering the drain holes. Anyway, hopefully it is something simple and can be remedied quickly while we wait for the door locks.

Finally managed to get my Grenadier booked in for 30,000 km service.
Tried 3 dealers and finally one on Sunshine Coast can fit me in this year.
They want the vehicle for 3 days as there are also 7 "campaigns" to do on it.
So 16th - 18th December it is in.
They are giving me a loan Grenadier to use and it is a 2.5 hour drive each way.
Strangely they couldn't quote me a cost as the guy who is able to login is on leave until Wednesday.

Ignition in Brisbane quoted me $1,177.08 but they were about $300 more expensive than everyone else last time.
SLRV on the Gold Coast told me they could sell me the genuine parts and I could get someone local to do the service.
I will look at this next time
Hey Dave

Did you service go all to plan and everything fixed and working? Did you have you AC condensate drip fixed or is your vehicle not experiencing that issue?

With regarding to the 7 campaigns, has anyone else been contacted or advised by their dealers that such things need to be considered? I had to raise my issues with the dealer to get them fixed, but have not been told or advised that any other TSBs or campaigns as being required.

Hi
Sorry I have been away with work for a couple of days.
Yes everything went to plan and faster than they expected. Only took 2 days.
I did get contacted about some of the items and decided to book it in at the same time as my service.
Since then I have done another 4,000 kms and it is running great.
Seems to be running more freely.
I have done 680 kms this week so far and it just eats it up.

Hi Woody, have you had any success at all with 4x4 Garage in Canberra? I've emailed 4 times since 07 January, called multiple times (more than 12) and went in person at 4pm on a Tuesday to find nothing but a display building full of new Audis awaiting delivery with 2 grenadiers at the front and the images below in the window - the same number I and my wife have been calling and getting nothing but a full voicemail box. The two times someone has actually answered the calls or returned a call we have been promised return calls and bookings for servicing appointments all of which have come to nothing. I approached Ineos Australia through their online portal, who simply emailed the same 4x4 garage address to ask them to please contact me for servicing. Still nix.

Have you found an alternative Canberra/ Queanbeyan area workshop alternative to suggest? This is farcical.

I still have not had any reply to my emails or phone messages from 4x4 Garage. It was never the same after new management, however I'm giving up on them now. Will drive 1300km to EHQ for next service.

This is a real pity to hear - My Grenadier was delivered through 4x4 Garage back in 23 and in general their service was a cut above the rest (from what I was hearing). However, they had such frequent personnel changes after Matt stepped back from being the frontman.

I think this is the biggest risk associated with Grenadier ownership atm - with other brands at least you could try a different garage. No doubt in years to come we will have competent independent mechanics working these machines... the sooner the better.

Same. I had great followup with Matt on a regular basis. Even for most of the year before I even received my delivery in Dec 2023!
