Mate, you now have to focus on the Grenadier Grin and simply enjoying it.
I envy you.
Mine is maybe a month away.
Maybe more.
Absolutely.

Pick it up Friday morning, then my son and I are going for 2 hour "soft" off road drive. Then, dust off the 4 day "shakedown" trip through Gippsland & Victorian high country I originally planned when an April delivery was on the cards.

Although it had been detailed, it's obvious when taking exterior moldings off that the vehicle has sat outside in the weather for a substantial amount of time. Has an under 1000 vin built in Jan23. It has the updated 'B' transfer case. Shows a couple of the usual errors but they generally go away. (Dealer says update next month 😶)
This is a little concerning - I kinda feel like those who had to wait this long should be rewarded with a later VIN number... with all the attendant tweaks and learnings. This is what i'm hoping for.

What's the latest VIN number delivered to Aus?

Ineos should be up to... guessing 8-10,000 vehicles manufactured by now?

Picking up mine this Friday - VIN 1715 (built very end of January), so it was standing out in the entire European winter!

10,000 made - don't think so - someone saw a VIN's in 4,000's last week at a Euro agent.

By 12 October (first full year of official production; my guess is maybe 7,000

VIN in the 800s. Delivered this afternoon and after a couple of hundred km, doesn’t seem to be at all half-baked. Everything appears to be complete and in working order with the exception of slightly laggy Waze on CarPlay.

The odds of someone else in Tasmania with a white Grenadier, with roo bar, RAI and safari windows =500-1

p.s. - get that white lettering on the inside!
Mushroom, privacy glass...
Yes I'll sort the tyres out in due course.

Ah but the shame I would have to endure from this Kultured Forum 😄
I did have lettering on the Pirelli Scorpions on my LC but after they wore a bit they looked ordinary.
I've thought on this. Do I fall to peer pressure and get the tyres flipped, or do I run with my current thoughts and go you know what - stuff it, if they're out or in, I couldn't give a stuff. ;):LOL:

If I listened to the FB people , I wouldn't have got the saddle leather.
I'll quote myself again "You do your thing , I'll do mine!"
I do defer to functionality over cosmesis, as a rule.
