Plenty of them I hear. There are GRENS in there that will be going to people who actually didn't know their vehicle was in production... or who have not yet signed a contract! Just saying...More Grennies spotted on car carriers in Brisbane today.
Perhaps Best to wait til next week when the demo is finished its PDI and you can look at it properly.Does this mean that Randolf at the dealership in north Brisbane might have some production models on the floor? If so, work is cancelled. I’d love to have a squiz.
They're expecting a truckload next week out of bond. Then they're going to be flat out...there's a mile long "to do" list on each vehicle even before the "PDI" ....software, ADR Compliance tweaks including the "clear" lens side indicator repeaters.... accessories fitting...Does this mean that Randolf at the dealership in north Brisbane might have some production models on the floor? I am like Tazzie and read things that aren't there...there's a smile long "to do" list...make sense to me...can't wait...good luck everybodythere's a mile long "to do" list
I’m hoping for some close up shots, too. These are the best I’ve seen so far …STILL haven't seen a close-up of what the replacement side indicators look like. From the photos of Aussie spec ones that have been posted they are either too far away, or wrong angle, or someone is standing in front of the vehicle (really, we don't care what YOU look like, we want to see your car). The blurry, distant shots I have analysed still seem to suggest the replacement indicators are a square peg in a round hole type of fit.
I think those photos of the white/MM grens in transit headed for brisbane yesterday already had their indicators fitted. I could be wrong but they looked different to the UK spec.STILL haven't seen a close-up of what the replacement side indicators look like. Correct. It appears that they are installed in Australia prior to delivery to the agents.I think those photos of the white/MM grens in transit headed for brisbane yesterday already had their indicators fitted. I could be wrong but they looked different to the UK spec.
Agree and as they should be - it's not the 1960's when some foreign cars imported had significant production processes finished in Australia.Correct. It appears that they are installed in Australia prior to delivery to the agents.

I'm no expert, but my understanding is that it’s the brightness and visibility from behind that's the issue (not the colour of the shell). To satisfy ADRs, vehicles with a GVM over 3.5T have to be fitted with Category 6 side indicators which have to meet certain standards of visibility.Agree and as they should be - it's not the 1960's when some foreign cars imported had significant production processes finished in Australia.
Anyway - it seems odd that the side indicator shell (amber flashing light) has to be white/clear?
If to avoid the LCT we have to get a different set of side lights, then I’m okey dokey on that.I'm no expert, but my understanding is that it’s the brightness and visibility from behind that's the issue (not the colour of the shell). Sadly, Making them stick out like that will cause wind resistance, totally ruining the otherwise sleek and streamlined grenadier.I'm no expert, but my understanding is that it’s the brightness and visibility from behind that's the issue (not the colour of the shell). Yep, you watch the fuel usage go through the roof!!!Sadly, Making them stick out like that will cause wind resistance, totally ruining the otherwise sleek and streamlined grenadier.
