Fuel economy of grenadier approx. 23.5 mpg real life use.

The date of delivery here in SA is 20 March 23. I must have been of the first customers that have ordered here in SA as they have invited me on an IG Vanguard getaway for three days beginning of December for a self drive experience in the greater Kruger National Park!

That’s awesome! I would not care about the fuel efficiency topic if I could be part of such an event.
If you feel a slight tug on the back of your neck, that's my envy!

It may depend on the country as to how they measure fuel economy
We don't use WLTP in Australia as far as I am aware.
At the end of the day what it says means very little.
How you load it up and how you drive it has more impact on fuel .

But what they write will have an impact on the tax regardless how sensitive your foot is.

Thank you @Francois - mine showed 307g/ 12l Diesel 100km in the Order - sheet. Also WLTP.
I ordered a Fieldmaster - however with Rough package + Auxilliary Battery so there isnt much difference to yours -except the aux battery & cabling I opted for.

To this I conclude - the contractual data is a much closer estimate than the preliminary- Also I doubt the 307g - that will be less. - also fuel consumption of 12l / 100km will be much lower.
The 250g and around 10l / 100km is more real.. so worst case estimate

Will see whats in my contract once I receive it.. that however will still take a while.

odd that all mpgs are the same but the bstaff diesel improves

uk spec

I have had my diesel Station Wagon for three weeks now. I have completed 1,200 miles. Over the last 400 miles I averaged 24.86 UK gallons per mile.
DOH! 24.86 Miles per UK gallon! 🤷‍♂️
