Need advice from dog travelers. What do you do about air bags? Besides crating, how do you prevent air bag injury to dogs? If you do a seat delete can the second row airbags be turned off?

Good question and never actually thought about it. Some states now are requiring that pets be secured either in crates or buckled. Personally I just have the rear seat hammock and the dogs are able to move about. Typically they are just lying down.

I believe that air bags will not deploy if the seat belts are not buckled but not 100% sure on that for the rear seats (side curtain airbags).

Dembe our 8 year old Staffy with Neema the cat, who thinks she is a dog...

Minzi our 5 year old Yellow Lab who sadly passed last year.

and Barney the 14 week old chocolate lab, let the fun begin... he has that look...

So true…I had 3 not too long ago…and a bit of both was true 😄
We had three for many years - decided to drop to two when the old one passed away. Soon after a breeder we knew well passed away.... so we took in a breed bitch that needed a home. Then realised we had three all aged within two years..... so we got a puppy :)

The 'old lady' and the puppy. Mind you, the puppy is now 6yo.

Beautiful setters, those and the GWP are for sure my two favorite upland dogs.
