If you are looking for max fuel economy set it to Level 1. One of my customers is getting 19MPG hand calculated on long drives in Florida at Level 1. I pair this or the Agile tuner and sell with the IO Pedal tuner. I see a huge difference when paired with our Kooks Exhaust system given it has less back flow. If you are interested in the IO Pedal tuner, I have those too and sold 3 this week. 704-682-9323 Thanks, David I do have to finish editing more videos of this as well for our YouTube channel.
I enjoy seeing vendors post on the forum, many do. Probably next month you will get an order for a Kooks exhaust set up from an old timer in Louisiana. 👍🙏

you made me curious and I sent an email for some clarifications.
since someone seems to have already mounted it I ask you my doubts:
- is the box waterproof? it must be inside the engine which is not exactly the cleanest place for an electronic component.
- when you take the car for a service with the relative software update do you have to physically disconnect everything?
- do you have a couple of photos of the finished work? where are the connectors positioned?
- do you notice the difference compared to the original mapping?

thanks

All the while our governor has one of the largest carbon footprints on the planet. He loves taking a helicopter and here there and everywhere.

:ROFLMAO: Don't you know its do as I say, not as I do. Same applies for all of the Globalist Agenda 'leaders'. Gates, Kerry, etc, etc, etc..

Looking forward to it. If there is anything else you are looking for keep us in mind. I have to get our website fully loaded with our other partners products we furnish as well.

The TDI Tuner and the Agile Offroad tuner both are appear to be water proof. The both mount in front of the brake booster area, basically on the left (driver's side) inside fender. Where you find the electrical outputs to connect EXT1 at for example. The portions that plug into the boost sensors and cam phaser (rpm) are reappy well done on both and are very similar to OEM. The directions on the Agile site for installation insttructions show pictures. Either can be installed with no tools which is cool. I would recommend that you remove before taking to the dealer which is a 5 minute task. The performance is significently improved especially with our Kooks Cat Back exhuast. I have some video.

Can you please post that video when all the testing is done and you explain the difference between the tunes? Really interested in the outcome. Thanks..🙏

I will reporr on my experience when mine arrives, maybe others can answer these questions sooner.

From what I have seen the box is waterproof and quite robust. As far as disconnecting it. As I undestand it there are three plugs and all easily accessed.

I installed this today. The initial default setting is #4 for 20 miles to "learn" your vehicle. The install was stupid easy with three points of connection. The TDI box and loom were OEM quality. I have posted a photo of the TDI loom installed. If you can find the zip ties you can find the after market loom.

i have a 35 mile loop I run to test my new gear, it is 18 miles of stop signs and corners and 17 miles of highway. It prefectly simulates a "combined" mpg number and today I recorded 20.8 mpg, up from 17.9 on level 4 with a K&N filter not exceeding 60 mph on the highway, a 16.2% improvement on level 4.

I will repeat this loop on level 3, and level 2, and level 1 over time and report back. At 20.8, I am a super fan.

Personally I’m not in it for the MPG, I want just a little more power. Could you feel the difference with the new tune installed (more pick up from a stop light, passing, etc)? Have you ran it at the max setting yet or is #4 the max or is it the other way around and #1 max power? Yes these are heavy as hell and won’t be winning any races, but just a little more umph is nice to have…. I was also told install is really in 5 minutes or less. What say you?🤞

edit: anyway you can circle the 3 areas in the engine bay where the hook ups are in that 2nd pic?

I travel thousands of miles between destinations and tourque equal miles per gallon for me. Here is the tech sheet from TDI. The images TDI sent me were of a B58 in a BMW and not of a Grenadier.

There are two boost connections, and the third connection is at the cam sensor. It was super simple to install. All my driving was on the default setting of #4 which the manufacturer specifies for the first 20 miles.

Changing settings can be done with push buttons on the box or via the app. I did not deviate from the default setting nor opt to wring it out on my trip but the gains were signicant on setting #4.

I don't find any videos of this particular product being installed on the granite deer in the usual places But there are plenty of B58 videos out there on the midsize BMW's.

There are two boost connections, one measuring ambiebt air, and the other in boost. The third connection is the cam sensor. It was 5 year old simple,12 year old with no previous automotive experience.
I'm personally not convinced that the numbers they provide are true, and I'd like to put it on a dyno to confirm or otherwise but the responsiveness is definitely there, after 10 thousand klms without issue for the $ it's worthwhile. I towed 2500kgs with a combined mass of just under 6000kgs on setting 4 and returned 16.2lts/100 klms- in freedom miles that's 14.5 to the gallon @60mph

I understand the skepticism, for $400 it was worth the effort and the TDI tuner did not disappoint.
