Crawl Speed and Tyre Size

Looking at the Crawl Ratio diagram from the leaked Pocket Guide, I noticed the diameter figure used in the calculation of crawl speed is 778mm.

I'm no expert in tyre sizes, but I thought that the diameter of both the Bridgestones and the BFGs in 17” would be over 800mm.

Thoughts / Clarifications ?

Interesting. The brochure lists tire size as 265/70/17 which is about 804mm in diameter. I wonder if they’re accounting for low tire pressure?

That seems about right. With a little tire deformation the stock size is probably about 30.6inches which works out to be the 778.
