Don’t talk to much in the springs colour coding.
A friend of mine has nearly the exact same Fieldmaster as I have (regarding weight)
But my car is 2 cm higher at the backside than his. I will check the springs coding as soon as we stay close to each other to see whether we have the same.
A company that obviously builds in different headrests will surly be able to confuse itself which springs are to use…
Maybe his mother in law is sitting on the rear bumper

Well that's the other variable - ride height and free spring length:

We need a separate thread to explain/understand all the different weight types listed in the CoC.
Actual mass of the vehicle means the mass in running order plus the mass of the fitted optional equipment to an individual vehicle.

The mass in running order is the basic vehicle with standard equipment plus a legally fixed standard weight of 75 kg for the driver.

You must be only 4 foot tall.
I don’t measure in feet, never succeeded in putting my own feet besides my body, and I have only two, therefore it never can be more.

I measure 187 cm (that is the abbreviation of centimeter) but have no fat and my bones are quit thin. And only my lower part is Walloon, the upper part is Flemish, or is it the other way around 🤔

Without wanting to start a discussion and all respect for everyone but I think the left part of you body is Walloon and the right is Flemish 🤣. At least that’s how Belgium is perceived by most 😬

I wasn't aware bespoke accessories were now available to order as factory-fit items.

Hi Jeremy,

I come back to my previous statement; I believe the different colors aren’t as much for load rating as for the dual compression on the springs. The N1 version should be lighter in ‘actual state of mass” according to the COC. Since the first part of the compression springs are there to give a more compliant ride with minimal load, it would make sense that this is different depending on type of IG. All IG have a standard max weight loaded pf 3.500 kg (except for Australia where it’s 3.550 kg). So in essence, all springs mounted under the vehicle need to be able to cope with that weight.

The fact that we have different rear colors on the same M1 might come down to the tow pack and dual battery option.

Maybe everyone should provide their weight conform the COC. Mine says the following on the COC:
Mass in running order: 2.740 kg
Actual mass of the vehicle: 2.883 kg

Anyways, just my 2c ;)

Wonderful, thank you. And you're probably correct. I'll just leave this here as we may be hunting down the wrong path...

I've noticed that on several other things. There seems to be two different part numbering systems. All parts on the vehicle seem to use the El prefix, whilst the parts ordering system uses the GRA prefix.

The colour purple also seems to be assigned differently in the sequence for front/rear?

aaah, good point. I was given a GRA number for the TPMS valves when I asked.

Thx much Steven Cook.

Agreed on the front EI #s on the actual springs.

Still perplexing why this vehicle has 2 red triangles in the rear when it doesnt have a lot of optional mass;

Are you saying they should be higher or lower?
