Carexpert.com.au review (Australia)

Unless wipergate becomes a ‚missed a motorcyclistgate‘ when turning right with low sun blinding you and making the dirty screen totally opaque. They could have done a better job with wipers that would swipe flush against the A-pillar, like on every motor vehicle these days and with this eliminating this unswiped patch.
Just need to stay very cautious and being aware of the blind spot. I guess this is no problem on the Stuart Highway in good weather I have heard….

Will be same issue LHD or RHD, wiper arm mounting points are symmetrical. Looks like they need a twin arm or pantograph system to straighten up the blade as it passes vertical and continues slightly further to the edge of the screen, just bending the current arm will mean the blade sits further up the base of the screen when not in use.

Just like this (same on my 928 rear screen) Not sure it could work on a narrow screen , but the engineers are clever , aren't they?
But more bits means mire to go wrong...

Would be sweet if they can also fit a 630bhp air cooled flat 12 when they tinker with the wipers, that would make the steering very interesting.

Enough room in the cargo area for that. Not sure it could cope with the 1200hp iteration though 😄

I contacted my Agent today and asked him what has been the response to all of the media in the last couple of days.

He stated there there has been quite a few enquiries from people coming through in the last few days who have never known about it before - definitely due to the media releases. A considerable jump in the number of enquiries.

It is obviously catching the eyes of quite a few future owners now.

Generally if I can't see clearly I don't turn the corner.
That was the complaint from the journalist, it blocks your view if you need to turn right
So lean forward!

Grenadier RHD windscreen coverage is exactly same as MB G Wagen professional.

The non-coverage area is a result of a very flat windscreen & the angle of the blade to the wiper arm.

A longer blade will not help.

So today, in my 05' farm spec Triton tray back... I have wipers that literally cover LEFT TO RIGHT of glass, and almost touch both L&R pillars... 05' farm spec Triton bottom the ladder spec... just saying!
