Build month and delays.....

Reserved 14/10/2021
Ordered 18 May 2022
Build month October 2022
England
ordered Trialmaster quite a few extras
Mushroom

SW diesel
order may 18th
estimated production september 22
no contract

according to my dealer the problem with the delayed contracts seems to be caused by the still missing 'official' WLTP data from homologation

Would be nice and reassuring to see a video of the production line now in full swing over there in the France/Germany

How about a series of webcams we could log into; or a tracker to follow our allocated chassis/ BIW around the workstations?

So we hope they yet have someone to do the job :)

Shit they are never building these cars in September or this year if this is what it looks like
Edit: well maybe they can build them but not deliver

I wish we could "recruit" someone from the factory in Hambach to "get some updates" ( question to our French forum members if they have any friends /relatives.....). Just joking, could be illegal..

I think this has more to do with Ineos moving off a project basis and on to a "business as usual" state.

This post is probably replacing Magna or other specialist contractors who have now completed their tasks of getting the initial model over the finishing line.

See it as a positive. Ineos have moved through another growth gate and met whatever criteria were necessary for a further injection of finance. Putting people directly on your books is never a cheap option, so the business case must be looking good for a longer term future.

Look on Linked In ~ Ineos Automotive are recruiting in just about every department you'd imagine a de ent auto maker would need.

"They will also manage the keep warm programme for customers who have placed an order and are awaiting delivery of their Grenadier."

Yeah, guess I was jumping to conclusions without data. Hopefully this is just business as usual. Just getting antsy because at least from the forum userbase I haven't seen anyone confirm a contract signing.

3 August + 60 days pre production contract signing = no September customer production??

Don't forget that Ineos now appear to have separated the locking of the spec and the contract signing.

Of course, not having signed a contract anyone could back out, but some customer vehicles must have been consigned into the production plan by now?

No more like missing WLTP data as cause for contract delay + opening for Emissions Certification Engineer posted 6 days ago = no September production but anyway I did say I was jumping to conclusion so no idea why you insist on adding insult to injury. Have a nice day
