Build month and delays.....

My Order details haven't changed (yet). Still says October 2022 for the estimated build date. But then the changes I made with my local agent haven't shown up either (yet).

Within the last hour my building date changed from September to October as well. At least the price is still the same.
It seems that someone is working hard to bring everyting in line now and changes order after order manualy.

Anybody here who shares my feeling that there might not be as much orders open anymore as there have been two month ago.
The fact that many building slots are now one or two mont earlier while the production starts later has two possible answers.
Fewer orders to fulfill or more production slots than thought before.
At least here in Germany - due to the high prices for energy - nearly everbody is looking for fuel efficent cars and I talked to a friend (who ordered a IG as well) whether there is anything reasonable in ordering the IG right now.
We agreed that there is nothing close to reasonable we can find in our decision but we stick to it anyway.

But there are many people who know that heating will be quite expensive this winter while their stocks (if they have some) went down and down for quite a while now. The war in Ukraine only increases uncertainty further. So I think that there might be some guys who stoped their order and asked for giving them their money back.

Nah. I have production indicated as November and received nothing to change or approve.
Strange, and maybe not good. From Ineos 1. July:

„the final phase of Grenadier development has been reached. Our final prototypes roll off the assembly line for production testing; we are also completing the tests for our manufacturing and logistics processes. This means that the start of series production is getting closer and closer. Our whole team is very excited to be able to hand over the Grenadier to its new owners - including you. You're probably a little excited too, aren't you?

Your Grenadier order is being processed. However, we need a few things from you so that we can start production:

1. Confirmation of your chosen specification

2. Your signed sales contract.

We would also like to inform you about financing and picking up your Grenadier.

Confirmation of your specification

We must finalize your order by July 8, 2022. After that, no more changes to your specification are possible.

If you're happy with the specification you chose, you don't have to do anything. We will then continue to process your existing order as you placed it. You can view your specification by logging into your account here and selecting "Orders".

If you would like to make minor changes to your Grenadier order, please click on the link below.

signing your contract

You will shortly receive your contract, which you must sign before we can finally complete your order. Based on the purchase contract, we can allocate your Grenadier to you.

Note: Once you have signed the contract and sent it back, your deposit cannot be refunded.“

Same here: was October, is now November.

No chance for the Special Vehicle Launch, I guess ... or they build it in early November and I get it still being warm ...

Also with me. Postponement to October. That fits in with the announcement by INEOS. The price has remained the same.

I only report what Ineos told me today about changing a order.

If they want to produce my car in October I should have had the chance to change my order until now - the day I sign the contract which is 60 days before build date. I have not signed yet, nor anyone else, so the 60 days was just a number.
If I can sign in mid September as announced the build date then were mid November. You get it?

They are not in schedule and its all quite confusing for me, for the other customers, the dealers and not least the people from the support. So they answer you with what they know, but this must no longer be true, or has changed 3 days ago and was not communicated with them, or will change tomorrow. Also my dealer does not know anything.

I think Ineos should issue a statement about the current situation and the perspective for the customers, which ordered a car. At the moment they act not very professionally.

Yes, the information policy leaves much to be desired. I had already written that once.
But we are used to it and cannot change anything. I think we should keep calm and wait and see. And I am sure that when they are ready, they will come around the corner with the contract. I also think that there aren't that many firm orders yet. For this reason, dates can be pushed back and pulled forward. I also don't think that many customers have cancelled, because they want to see and drive first and not buy a pig in a poke.

Another moved from October build month to November, consistent with the delay comm. They appear to be optimising the production and/or shipping schedule (for Oz) so bring it on.

Make sure you are on the correct country. I have the same problem unless I change the country from the default UK to Australia before I log in
I think that may have been the issue. On the second attempt I was able to select the country as UK which was not an option on the first attempt. (currently overseas). All is well and cock a hoop for Dec 22 projected build!!!

My estimated build date also changed from September to October yesterday - as previously announced. (Germany I should add.)

My January 2023 build date remains the same (Australia).

So far I have remained as November 22, UK
