I ordered two, one petrol, one diesel.I just got the information that my delivery dates are 19th September. As assumed I don´t need both and will take the petrol. So I can give back or offer delivery date 19/09/22 for a diesel trialmaster.

Who informed you (and how) about the delivery date 19th September?! Lucky you ? And obviously you have not signed any contract yet (since you say you can still give back the diesel trialmaster)?

And it gives me hope that it won't be too much time between build date and delivery date, for Germany at least (if your case is not too much outside the standard process).

Build date does not mean delivery date of course, yet surprising why Germany, mainland Europe gets an earlier build date than UK, Australia, etc. with similar starting dates. Delivery, shipping should still come independently after build. We all do not know how long the delivery takes after production to the dealer and until the dealer then installed the ordered accessories. So even with September build, October, November or even later regarding the delivery can be.

Got this from INEOS today  - at my request.
"Kindly note that we are working on advancing the build date. You will be notified via email when a revised build date is available."

Be interesting to see what it actually means in real terms.
