Fabbri, in Italy, makes one called the Gringo Bicci. You can get conversion kits so it can carry 4 pairs of skis, 2 snowboards (or 1 snowboard and 2 pairs of skis), or 2 bikes. For the stock Grenadier wheels, you will need the 300mm extension cables, as well. It’s quite light and mounts in about 1 minute, once you do the initial setup, which is very easy. I don’t use it for my mountain bike (I use a Thule hitch mounted rack with an extender bar) - just skis, but looks like an interesting option. One thing to note - I believe the Fabbri touches the frame - my bikes are carbon frame, so I prefer no-touch options. The site says it’s carbon frame compatible, so I think the part that touches has protection for the frame. If you want a spare-mounted rack, however, this might be your best bet.

Yesterday I bought this rack and it's not compatible with the Grenadier

Things to consider:
- not as lean as the Yakima (no folding of the upper part)
- assembly takes a while
- creates issues with the parking sensor (there might be a fix for that)

I use a yakima, like above, but I have a model where I can offset the upper part to compensate for an offset tire. I also replace the mount extension with one fabbed from stainless, otherwise it can rust together if left on.

Ah, on mine I can move the spacing of the wheel holder and upright. I needed to after coming from the Discovery. So no spacer needed. But yes I can only open the small door with it in place.

Do you have some photos of the set up. I use the Thule rack for two Bikes, but it is a pain in the arse fit. Anything that would drop the height and push it back a few inches would save a load of stress

Installed an Allen bike rack today! I wish I could’ve installed a Thule it looked much better but this one does the job.

Just stumbled onto this thread. I needed one too and just like @terdrocket I went the lolo rack route. I have their 4 bike shuttle rack and love it. So I fabbed a removable rack that mounts to the ladder. it works great so far. Its not as robust as a hitch mount rack such as a Rig'd or lolo, but that is mostly because I do not know the ladder load capacity(other than stated static load). But for me to rip down the highway and forest service/dirt road this setup is great. I have a few more tweaks that I want to make then I will post some pics. It holds two mountain bikes by the handlebars, is removable, and it is adjustable.

I would like to fit a similar carrier to my Sprinter. I find this type very stable and it allows unhindered access to the boot.

Glad I finally bit the bullet. 1Up offers a version of this (the RakAttach), but it is quite a bit more $$. Plus I think this one from Kuat is at least as good, if not better quality based on research (not personal 1st hand experience). And I bought the Kuat on Amazon, so free shipping, vs $69 for the RakAttach factory direct.

Hi, @tedrocket, just wondering what size motorcycle risers you ordered? Do standard 1 1/8 inch ones fit the tube? I measured it at 31.8mm ( same as a mtb bar). Hoping to replicate this somewhat. Cheers
