Hi
About Arc wire spray (LDS)
Pure curiosity !

On the documentation, it says it'done with a "ferrous material"
Do you know what this ferrous material is made of and how it compares with Nikasil?
(NB: On my P .964 the cylinders are electrolytically coated with Nikasil)

Ferrous means it has an iron content. Nikasil was largely dropped in the UK and EU around 2000 due to high sulphur fuels taking the coating off . Not so much of an issue when leaded petrol was replaced around 2001.

Thank you for your response
Do you know what metal(s/ are used on our B58 engines?
Fe+C?+W?+Cr?+V?+Mb?
