Anyone paint the factory skid plates?

Some optical illusion or something always made the silver version look bent or askew. I pulled mine off and got it powder coated when I got a few other things coated.

i completely agree. Painting them black makes them “disappear” nicely!

Painted my front skid yesterday. Temp warmed up to 70 degrees in Dallas yesterday, so it was perfect to paint!

Rear skid is next.
