Max tire size for rear door access?

34 real inches in diameter seems to be about the cutoff. For example 285/75/17s (33.9-34.1 depending on which tire) seem to fit with a sliver to spare. A couple of places sell relocation brackets (owl vans and I think agile offroad off the top of my head) so it's not the end of the world if...

That sounds promising! I think 285/75/17 is about the perfect size for the Grenadier since it seems they tend to clear stock suspension, give a much needed boost of more than an inch to ground clearance (and improved approach/departure/breakover angle), and also still look good on slightly...

    Bigger tyres > 255/85r17

I think I saw someone saying there weren't a lot of AT tires in 285/75 R17, but its actually pretty common here in the U.S. These are some of what's available. Sorry to the ROW - I'm not going to convert to metric. A high speed rating doesn't mean you plan to drive that fast - it is (in part) a...

    Local Area Thread 285/70r17

    Americas Life with an Ineos

Several boxes have shown up on my doorstep that will end up being part of the Grenny. I am hoping to get most of it here before I start the process. My undecided part is still the wheels. I want to stay with a 17-inch wheel and run 285 75 R17 tires so my question is what have people been having...

Zero shaking - I haven't thought about the fuel economy. I'll check on the next tank! Tires are whatever INEOS mounted 255 60 R18? Or something like that? When they wear out I'm stuffing some 285/75 R18's under there. Why? I don't know - they look cooler . . .

    Aftermarket Wheels List

I've checked out these wheels before. When I go to Black Rhino's website it says there's nothing compatible with Grenadier even this one. Where'd you purchase these?? DaBull is correct but these are nicer IMO. I'd put 275/70/18 as more than enough clearance for anything.

Hi MMICHAELS, Very nice looking! Looks like a Grenadier 17" alloy and a Grenadier 18" alloy got together and had a son. DaBull

    Aftermarket Wheels List

Just bought 5 Black Rhino Yellowstone gunmetal I'll keep the steel rims laying around. When the first round of tires wears out maybe a 285/75 R18? I'm not forking out the cash for the INEOS Rims - geeeeeez. This felt in the right spirit?
