I purchased the JBL nano from eBay for $199. I mounted the JBL in the center of the back seat and it fits perfectly. The factory plug is attached to the harness wiring, just feel for foam covering. There are M6 attachments in the floor, so I mounted two aluminum runners using plastic dowls over the SS screws to make it level with the seat frame. You need to be careful to mount the woofer, so it does not interfere with the parking break. I then used 2” Velcro strips to mount the JBL to the runners. It is easily removable and works perfectly. The only issue is tuning the woofer, for that you need to remove the front trim under the seat set the woofer and put is back in. All in all this is a 3 out of 10 in difficulty.
I don’t seem to have enough room to plug the factory plug into the woofer. Did you add extension wires to gain a couple of inches?

If you follow the wires back, you can get more length by untapping them from the main harness. Its tight but totally doable.

The Grenadier will play music from a USB thumb drive. It handles a variety of audio formats some including artwork.

More details in my manual. Download link in signature line below.

Cheers
Steve
I can get a thumb drive to work but that is all , had it for 10 months and still cant work the radio or the navagation system that was designed for mud crabbing

What color where the wires and do you have any detail? A photo would be super helpful. THank you
The connector is taped to the center tunnel, on the passenger (R) side under the rear seat area. It is wrapped in black foam.

The easiest way to figure out the pin outs is to compare it to the plug on the BassPro Nano, I can't remember the speaker wire colors off the top of my head, but they match the colors at the speakers themselves in the doors

OK so ... my Dad actually bought one on Tuesday... (Hi again Pop...) - I was offered the chance to take it for a spin and I admit, it's a helluva truck ... But ... about that stereo ...

... a little underwhelming ... I'm going to have to play with the settings and maybe someone can help me out with the Subwoofer - what exactly am I looking for, people were complaining that theirs were either not connected at all or incorrectly configured (or not configured at all, switched off or something like that...) - So I have to take a look at that ... and the overall volume, so far I have to say that the much-maligned Bronco B&O premium system is much- much better ... FIRST IMPRESSIONS, again, have a lot more Research & Development to do. One thing the Bronco really shined was the sound of the system outside the vehicle. ... the Bronco AND B&O teams focused on designing the Bronco for both the DRIVE TO "The Party" and then AT The Party etc. So if you're at the beach and using your truck as the entertainment, it sounds great outside the vehicle, and it really did. The first time I had ever drove it, back in March of '22, I took it to the grocery store with the top down, parked it with the stereo blasting in the farthest part of the lot (scratches and dents less likely with no cars around etc.) - and went in ... when I walked out of the store, I tested the Remote Start, and it fired right up - and the music ... and people ALL OVER THE PLACE in each direction reacted like , "Holy ***** listen to that, LOOK at that etc." I will have to make a note to see how the Grenadier sounds outside the vehicle.

Anyway just curious what else everyone things with whatever time & miles & now months/years of experience everyone has with their stereos. Thanks again!

One might suggest that the Bronco sound system is therefore designed for entertainment at beach parties.
That would probably suit many Bronco purchasers.
Arguably not the IG demographic.

Sorry if I sounded like I was interested in discussing Demographics.

In fact I was inquiring about the performance of the stereo system, and how to check if the subwoofer was connected properly - which is a known problem in the vehicle. Thank you for your concerns.

Thank you for your passive aggressive response. Does daddy know you borrowed his vehicle?

He says to tell you that I since I bought it for him, I can borrow it if I want to. Although I'm quite content with my Jeep. She's the first & only female vehicle I've ever had, and really, all I need... and also to point out, that you must not really know the "Demographics" , neither, because since I've owned both, I am pretty sure I qualify as the "Demographic" ...

But back to the point, do you know or have anything to add about the stereo & subwoofer connection/settings? Or no? Just chiming in to be, like, you know, rude and not-helpful while at the same time calling me "passive-aggressive" (have no idea wtf that means...)

Hey Gun4Hire,

Just wanted to say Thank You Very Much, I will study it and I very much appreciate it. It's funny - yesterday I had the opportunity to take it out for another spin, and I admit that I was (more than) a little underwhelmed by the stereo system - so as my old man and I were just checking it out a little, I said "Hey , give me a quick hand? Let's just check..." - and sure enough ... in our case, the JBL BassPro Nano subwoofer was PLUGGED IN physically, but not turned out! Just pushing the Auto Turn-On button immediately gave a Red , then Green , light to flash ... and I was like, Hmm.. it can't be that simple ... but AS SOON as turning the vehicle/stereo on, you could *immediately* hear, feel , and tell the difference. It's much , much better with it on. You'd think they would know to do that lol.

I will still have to mess with all the settings but it's nice to at least get that sorted.

I do wonder what type of power the other, actual speakers are getting ... I don't think Ineos will address it other than to say that the speakers are "powered by an integrated amplifier built into the main head unit" ... yeah ok, but when you get the Premium system, it specifically says "uprated amplifier" and the subwoofer itself is powered integrally ... it would be nice to have details. Plus they used probably the least-desirable choice of speaker sizes, would have been very nice to see the extremely-common 6"x9" but hey, nobody asked me lol.

Anyway thanks again Sir , much appreciated bruv.
