Mine was at 1130. Dealer fixed it for free. Met a couple of the coolest fellow members while waiting.

My steering wheel was straightened when in for transfer box and software last November. Has been fine ever since.

HI - Just a quick question for the experts. My steering wheel is off center with the middle line at about 11:00. All else seems fine. Any ideas or is this normal? I really didn't notice it before and I installed a Fox steering dampener but can't see that it would do the?

Thanks!
Take it to your dealer. Mine in the UK centred it and set up the steering geometry, which really improved the driving experience.

Don't tolerate excuses, it should not be delivered with an offset wheel.

I suspect they are lying to you. Easier to say they all do that than spend 5 minutes making adjustments.
Spoke to the area sales manager about this and his response is if it doesn’t bother you that much then it’s better to leave it alone. Basically it is what it is!!!

It doesn’t bother me. Slightly bothers me.

I like RDS, I'd very comfortable with them as a dealership, but being 300 miles away and no sat hrs is a ball bust though. Here's how my brain works to get an oil reset on a Wednesday... $2000.00 billable lost and 402 dollars for mileage. Plus food stipend.

That's a 2500 dollar day for me. I could put in time all over the week and rationalize it just being a severely irritating time sucking vampire of an inconvenience robbing days from my ever shortening life, but the mileage on the rig certainly is real.

My dealer said it’s 100% correct on the alignment machine but yet the steering will always be ever so slightly off set. Nothing they can do. They will only go by the specs set by Ineos and will not try anything else. However, there are many which are perfect. Why?

Quality survey. Ineos cannot produce or fix a steering and make it 100% straight. Yet other live axle 4x4 manufacturers can. Why? If this was made in China then everyone would be taking the p*ss.
If they removed that little line at the top of the wheel the problem would be solved

When you are driving through muddy ruts it is very hard to tell if your steering is straight.
I bet you don’t the answer to this? Often when reversing in the evening. I don’t know which way up the steering is because it’s two spoke. Why is it 2 spoke steering? 😂

Only if you are drunk.
There is a large flat section on the bottom ........with writing on it.
A bright red button on the right
Two thumb rests in the top half of the wheel
Not to mention you are either reversing straight or turning

When you are driving through muddy ruts it is very hard to tell if your steering is straight.
I use to drive side window open so I can take a peek. Also you should always keep in mind where your front wheels are pointing.

Especially beginners tend to rotate the steering wheel like mad, in ruts it really doesn't help, you just loose forward driving force. Additionally if you have the steering against the limit sudden traction can throw you to a stone or tree before you can blink your eye ...
