Unfortunately, that's how it is, Rovie. I could get upset about this kind of behavior. You seem to have hit the right note. I probably would have ended up spilling some cold coffee on the salesman's suit out of carelessness. 😇
As a minimum I would have ventured inside and dealt with another salesperson.

I attempted to create a lightweight prototype bush plate 🙈, one that could be easily installed and removed using the utility belt.

My finding... I should stop embarrassing myself and pass this idea to someone that can do it justice 🤣.

Please don't judge.

It's simply prototype #1. It took 2 prototypes or more to get our Grenadiers. A+ for the effort.

Wonderful, such fun in the morning (for us at least) together with a cup of coffee and the day can start. :ROFLMAO:

To be honest, even if it is really ugly 🤮 I like a lot the idea
Just think about other usages: billboard, panel for fixing tools, etc. etc.

Today my better 1/2 and son and d.i.l. drove Gimli to the Florentine Valley to Growling Swallet , where the creek dives underground as part of a huge limestone karst system up to 400m deep. 7km away it apparently exits into the Junee River.
Got stung on the eye by an angry bee - hives placed next to the track in 2 places , we almost turned back at the 2nd as they were very active but decided to bush bash around it. Nobody fell into any shafts , nobody got snakebitten ( we did spot a tiger snake on the way back); on the drive home we got internet to hear there was a bushfire 1km from home.
But all is good! Until next trip/adventure!

Awesome photos... I'll be visiting my old man in Tassie over Easter. Wish the trip was longer and I could bring the Grenadier along to visit some of these amqzo spots.

Yea I think it has a lot of potential uses, just none I can create for, only dream of.

The initial idea came up after driving very narrow tracks. I've looked at wraps, however having something removable adds another dimension in uses.

If I kept dreaming the ideal product for me would be 4 x door panels that provide the added features as described below

- visually appealing and shaped to the door (protection)
-Could be used as a Maxtrax (recovery)
-molly staps for additional attachments (tools)
-lightweight and portable, easy fixing to roof rack (when in public)

When off-road I'd activate tank mode for added protection 🤣
