I am not sure why everyone here thinks the pre order number means anything. What matters is the reservation date/time. Ineos should be manually prioritizing the build date according to that. I am beginning to think that pre order number means something just because the earlier preorder numbers have Q4 build slots and higher numbers do not. There may be some earlier reservations that get higher pre order numbers if they have specs that require the build to be pushed out.
It looks like they have not completed ordering pre orders yet. They are "committing" to allocating production dates for everyone by end of this month. It is possible that the higher numbers will eventually get a Q4 date. I believe what you stated about earlier reservations getting pushed out due to spec is correct (and confirmed by Ineos).
Do all of the newly assigned pre-order numbers for the US and Canada Market have a 1 as the first digit of the last 5 numbers like mine, 14406
No, there are numbers below 10000, like mine at 09339.

That’s what I’ve been told on several occasions, the only deviation from this is the line about some of the options causing a delay etc in the latest email.
