Americas USA Reservation Holders - it’s happening this weekend!

My pre order number is 9626.

I reserved the IG on September 30, 2021 at 3:45 pm MT. Did people with lower pre-order numbers reserve earlier on the first day?!
Your number is lower then mine ( 9725 ) and I reserved on the 29th.. I didnt preorder until just before the early cutoff window closed. So wondering if these preorder numbers are production numbers.. if so I got screwed. 👎

I'm in Seattle and we didn't have a dealer leak like some others. I expect a build month of October or so and am guessing about 3 months from build to delivery like the Aussies. I'd be thrilled with a Christmas delivery but will be happy with any time before next spring.
Nicely done, Bruce. Assume your build window is also Q42023 like mine. Am wondering when we might expect actual delivery. Have you raeched out to your dealer?

I am not sure why everyone here thinks the pre order number means anything. What matters is the reservation date/time. Ineos should be manually prioritizing the build date according to that. I say "should" because that is what they said they would do.

I am beginning to think that pre order number means something just because the earlier preorder numbers have Q4 build slots and higher numbers do not. There may be some earlier reservations that get higher pre order numbers if they have specs that require the build to be pushed out.

It looks like they have not completed ordering pre orders yet. They are "committing" to allocating production dates for everyone by end of this month. It is possible that the higher numbers will eventually get a Q4 date. I believe what you stated about earlier reservations getting pushed out due to spec is correct (and confirmed by Ineos).

Do all of the newly assigned pre-order numbers for the US and Canada Market have a 1 as the first digit of the last 5 numbers like mine, 14406
or does ANYONE in the US and Canada Market have a zero in front of the last 5 digits like 04406.

No, there are numbers below 10000, like mine at 09339.

Thanks for the info Liebke. Knowing this it may be easy to figure out approximately how many pre-orders for the US and Canada market combined.

Reservation date: 9/29/21
Pre-order date: 6/27/23
• Pre-order number: 9637
• Estimated build window: Q4 2023

Hi Soong, Looks like so far you have the highest Pre-Order number of 11573 that has been assigned a Q4 build in 2023.

I had reserved it February of 2022 so that may have put me in the Q4 window.

"February or so" was the guess for a Q4 build cutoff when I asked at the drive event earlier this year.

Here’s my deets: reserved 9/30/21, pre-ordered 5/30/23, full spec Trialmaster, no optioned dealer installed nonsense. Only quirk is black contrast roof on safari’s over MM

Production details:

• Pre-order number: 10035
• Estimated build window: Q4 2023

Reserved 09/29/2021 @ 8:06 p.m. AZ time.
Your confirmation #: 0005264400

Production details:

• Pre-order number: 9877
• Estimated build window: Q4 2023

What’s your spec and location?
Philly dealer. I didn’t want safari windows, steelies or snorkel, so I built a high spec station wagon - 17” Alloys, Rear Access Ladder, Heat-reflective glass, Heated Utility Trim, Differential Locks, Class 3 Tow Hitch/Electrics/Power Take-Off/Hight Load Electrical Panel/Auxiliary Battery, plus Roof rack.

That’s what I’ve been told on several occasions, the only deviation from this is the line about some of the options causing a delay etc in the latest email.

Fwiw. I placed my original deposit minutes after I received the email years ago and I’m in the mid 900’s to see how close you are to the front globally it’s been suggested to look at the number on your original invoice after you put the cash down. The accountants seem to have issued them in order…… allegedly.

It’s all moot to be honest, and we’re probably being chuckled at by our international friends as it only matters when you get the keys. At least we won’t have to go through batch and hold.

you need to stop thinking you are going to be their largest market
As a Toyota Corporate (Tokyo Mothership MBA alumni), I can assure you the USA market is a make or break market for essentially all manufacturers due to our unique position regarding consumer discretionary spending capacity.
