I'm in Birmingham, AL and about two hours and twenty minutes from the for now nearest planned dealer/service center in Atlanta. I keep telling myself the dealer network and service centers will only grow if folks like me/you/us have faith enough to punch our ticket and get one. Yeah, I might have to slog over to Atlanta for some white knuckle driving to get some regularly scheduled maintenance or for a very long overdue software update, but I'll make a weekend out of it. They better damn well be open on Saturdays. To paraphrase Field of Dreams, "If you buy it, they will come."
You're fortunate.
I'm in Memphis and my nearest dealer is...
Same as yours. ATL.

Dallas is only about 30 minutes further.

Didn't realize that. They were touting it at the beginning to put people at ease. I guess another thing they lied about.
I feel like it is unfair to say it is something they lied about; more accurately, it is something that changed from the initial development of the vehicle to the actual deployment of the vehicle

This is my thought too. There have been several things that have had to fall by the wayside, and others that have had to be added to satisfy regulations or practicality in order to get the Grenadier built. Rather than looking down on Ineos, I respect their letting us peek behind the curtains as they rolled the project out.

Peek behind which curtains?

There's still a lot of vehicle/sales/service information that's been promised, that hasn't materialized. Very frustrating for us all.

By "peek" I meant they have released the goals of the project, shown us prototypes, and what their plans are before they're finalized. The information I've been given has gone through several iterations which I appreciate. I've gone from thinking I'm buying an incapable of bongs car at a tractor dealer to waiting to see what luxury car brand will be providing service on what the Grenadier has become. Maybe I'm an optimist or look at the project through rose tinted glasses, but I'd rather have this opportunity to evaluate the progress than have Ineos pull a Toyota and just dump a disappointing vehicle on me.

New Australian price list is out
States MY24 vehicles so don't expect to get them this year.
Strangely they use the date code as written in USA, Canada and Belize.
Not as used in Australia or the entire world
Damn the price has gone up.
Also a very clear difference between the Trialmaster and Fieldmaster
Power mirrors can be optioned on the base models without the smooth pack.

What did you mean by this @DaveB ?
Previously you could start with either the Trialmaster or Fieldmaster and option to identical spec.
Now you can't
There are options on each that aren't available to select on the other.
Now Fieldmaster is only available with Leather and only with the ugly 18" alloys
The Premium Sound is standard on the Fieldmaster and not even an option on the Trialmaster
This means you can't option the auxiliary battery on the Fieldmaster as a doof doof speaker is mounted there.
The Trialmaster has the auxiliary battery as standard regardless of if you want it or not.

To me they are streamlining parts and production to produce more at a faster rate.

It also creates two distinct trim levels (three technically); a large number of customers were very confused about the fact that Trialmaster/Fieldmaster existed, yet could be made exactly the same (based on my time on the PTO2 tour).

Sounds like what comes around, goes around. The US just happen to be the first MY24, it seems those are the std options.

Just means more custom standard wagons it you are after particular options
Exactly! When the rep told us (DFW Texas tour) there'd be no base wagon and we'd have to start with TM or FM trim, I almost bailed.

I'm glad he was wrong.

I relied on the fact I could build a custom Wagon, and that’s exactly what I did. The TM/FM both had various options I did not want (18”, Safari’s, BFG’s, Premium Sound, Leather).

Streamlined manufacturing definitely benefits from predefined packages, and I was surprised at Ineos initial ordering flexibility.
