Excess is $1000, which is a bit higher than I wanted. Includes unlimited car hire of a similar vehicle type - which is a must with the IG I reckon.
Cheers, yes unlimited car hire is a must for us due to travelling full time. Fixing a Grenadier would likely involved looong wait times with parts availibility issues. As far as excess goes I always tick around $1500. With zero claims or damage in 35 odd years (touchwood) the likely scenario is I get shunted or otherwise. The policy savings over a number of years mitigate any future excess payment. I'll transfer the Blackvue dual dashcam from the current vehicle as it can prevent an 'excess' payout in the event of a hit & run in a carpark or similar.
The beauty of a second battery is that you can leave the Blackvue set to parking mode without worrying about draining the starter battery...
It appears that if you want the rear panels it will say so on your order - if there is no rear panel specified on your order you should get windows (or so the theory goes)
Yes, had the same thought.
Currently have it timed to auto switch off after 6hrs in the settings. The Jeep GC has a 95Ah AGM starter batt so can easily handle it. The GME 370 UHF is set up to do the same if I forget to switch it off.
Just ask your agent to charge the battery before delivery.

One for @Tazzieman for my benefit, does Tasmania have the very strict car quarantine restrictions as the Oz mainland. I presume so, does that mean travel between the two islands is not restricted once " cleaned"
No restrictions on taking your car from the big island to the small island, except they check you haven't bought fruit in your car
I understand it will also call in at Esperance, where 78 will be offloaded
