Wired my grill lights to Aux 1 switch

Just reading this is exactly how I want to wire my aux lights for the night drives in Moose country . Any schematic or photos to illustrate? My only worry is if this is a major rework my limited skills as a sparky will let all ‘electric smoke ‘ out of the system like i did on my D90
Sorry the US spec vehicles are wired very differently to Australian spec.
You should be able to use the high beam on the headlights to switch a relay under the bonnet so the come on with high beam.
Not sure in the US but an auto electrician should be able to do it in under an hour easily

Thanks Dave B
I will have to find a competent pair of hands and get this done. Having built sevaral bmw Gs lighting systems (halogen and xenon)- my go to was a separate bus, relays and switch gear. Im too old and too cranky to sort all those bits- but it can’t hurt to have a look 👀
