Ended up doing a 90 degree pull to scull drag the front onto firm ground. Was easy on the greasy ground.

I ended up getting it - Well today it paid for itself.
A Father’s Day short drive ended with one side of the vehicle dropping into sloppy goop and sank to the body. Even with both lockers in she wasn’t going anywhere.
Of course just being a quiet drive with the wife I had neglected to put the recovery bag in the vehicle. So I was restricted in finding an anchor within 10 m of the vehicle. Which was a shame as 10m more was a perfect winch tree.

Two lessons.
Keep recovery gear in vehicle at all times. And have a couple of extension ropes and a shovel at all times. View attachment 7868780
