White rims? Thoughts?

I would like white rims, to match the white (Scottish White?) roof, in particular because otherwise there is just too much of a ‘Sea of Black’ effect from the door sills on down.

Very good idea. I choose the black roof and not the white one to prevent this effect. But with white rims there’s a contrapoint to the roof

I have ordered Britannia Blue with white roof, and I seriously planned from the beginning to get the black steel rims white!

Hard decision b/w Britannia or Shale Blue!

White wheels will look good with either blue (Shale Blue truck in the image below). The powder-coating guys didn't quite match the Scottish White (too much red, IMO) but it still looks sharp.

That's nearly the first mod I did with mine. The wheel color, according to the coater, is "Almond" - but it matches the body color extremely well.

That said... The amount of brake dust is staggering. I have to power-wash my wheels at least once a week.
