I really need to scratch this itch. Added another odd ball to my collection today. Final model year Saab 9-3 Viggen. My first car was a Saab 99 EMS that I haven’t stopped missing. Hopefully it will have some of the magic in it that I remember from my youth.

I thought some people might find this Australian SUV/softroader test interesting

I am still only part way through and while they say it is an easy test I think it is more than most owners of these vehicles will ever do.
Disappointing one right at the start is the Jeep Compass (rebadged Fiat?) Trailhawk trail rated version.
Kick two diagonally opposing wheels in the air and the drivers door wouldn't open or close.
trying to go up a steep log hill and the 4WD system decided to go home and refuse to play.

Range Rover Sport Supercharged (w/ very rear HD package) in winter. Soon to be replaced by a recently acquired Cayenne S Transsyberia for winter use and some offroad fun.
Cayenne Turbo (958) for summer (was actually the overlander until the other 2 rigs above came into play, now it's summer tarmac only).
Newer Ford F350 custom aluminum flatbed/composite camper for longer duration overlanding.

RRS and CTT will have to go to make way for the IG. I miss my G500 setup quite a bit!
