Must admit, driving around QLD with no ACond the last few days had been rough... Nothing like a seat belt line sweaty trail to show the world!!

2009 Tacoma TRD with new frame. 140,000 miles. ARE DCU cap. (American contractor cap, like for a carpenter or plumber) I would camp in it forever by adding an Alu-Cab Canopy except I want to get to the rear without going outdoors. Last trip there were 65 mph wind gusts, snow and rain.

Welcome @MidnightCamper

2020 First Edition New Defender with P-400 Petrol Engine. Took a chance buying a completely newly designed vehicle like I am with the Grenadier.
Reason I purchased the new defender is the heritage of the old defender, which I loved, however which was not to practicable unless I purchased one and had it completely redone. It was not more than 2 months after purchasing it that I heard about the Grenadier and started following it and made a reservation in November. Plan is to take delivery of the Grenadier in the US in 4th quarter 2023 or 1st quarter 2024. I will say that I absolutely love my new defender. The performance if nothing short of exceptional with 0-60 in 5.8 seconds. In my opinion it is the #1 best 50/50 on-road / off-road vehicle on the road today. There is not a single thing I would change on it, except to sculpt a Grenadier body on it. Therefore the reason I am purchasing a Grenadier. DaBull

depending on the mood ,weather or job to do , disco2 td5 , vs commodore ute 3.8 v6, series 2a tray 2.25 petrol , ss commodore 6litre v8, 1927 dodge tourer fast 4, freelander 2 td4

I love the look of the RRC. Beautiful truck.
I have always been fascinated with the RR classics ever since I was young. This particular one was purchased by the founder of AutoZone to drive from Memphis to Colorado for an elk hunting trip. My grandfather bought it from him and drove it for years, but despite being a perfectionist engineer, let it go into disrepair. In high school I bought it from him and rebuilt it. It’s been my play vehicle for a while, and now I DD it.

Wife is driving 2014 Toyota FJ cruiser and she can get what ever she wants but she loves her FJ, I am really trying hard to get her in the Grenadier, she will test drive Friday 3.17. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I got her exited with the Grenadier pictures in the snow, it may work.
I drive a 2020 Gladiator Mojave and 1992 Resto-mod Defender 110 being built in my garage.
I have reservation for 2 units, The Fj and the Gladiator will go by by if I am lucky.

Currently in a 2015 Defender 110 USW with Auto conversion (the 4 speed ZF box). Also have a Series 2A lightweight with V8 and Auto box and coils - built for UK trialling.
On the road its a Kona Electric (but its 204BHP and is seriously rapid away from the lights) "Q" car.
And for Classic Summer days out its a 1965 Sunbeam Tiger 289ci.
Grenadier is a possible replacement for the 110 but my wife will have to like it first as there is no way, at present, that she would let it go!!! There you go, girl! But it could always be "as well" I suppose.

Well if one of you wanted a 4 speed ZF in the 110, then I think the 8 speed in the Grenadier will feel like the same jump again from the original manual.

And for Classic Summer days out its a 1965 Sunbeam Tiger 289ci.
If that's what's on the trailer then it looks amazing. 👌

I don't recall if you've posted this, but what color scheme did you spec for your Gren? The Defender green & white combo looks wonderful. The 911 isn't bad either ;)

Considered the 6 speed Ford auto conversion but it was very expensive in comparison to the ZF.
On the trailer is a pre-war Aston Martin on its way to Manchester Classic car show. Part of its history is racing at Le Mans in 1934 as one of 3 team cars entered by Aston.
Not mine, unfortunately!!!
