What did you do with your Grenadier today?

Yeah thanks for the ideas.
I’ve got a 600km round trip tomorrow so I’ve just pressed the button and been done with it.
Just seems such a waste.

Maybe I can swap out the KO3 for a KO2 later, but I’ll probably just upgrade to KO3’s down the track - maybe - I was thinking of giving the BFG HD’s a go. Ah well.

If I had somewhere to store it I’d probably plug it and keep it as a second spare for my next desert trip.

Daughter mixed a little too much GID epoxy for a school project, so I thought i’d fill in the hollowed out back of the Grenadier USA rear handle😂😂

I have no idea if any of it will even show when the handle is mounted but it was the closest thing that came to mind when she said I have less than 5min before it starts to harden😁😁

Maybe the daughter will have some TNT left over from next project. Then you can get the epoxy out again. :ROFLMAO:

That's quite disappointing @bigleonski.

I was looking forward to taking two K02s off you for 50 bucks a piece to get them out of your shed 😁.

Had to deal with this:

And Donald’s taking about unbalanced trade and pricing - you can probably get the same tyre in the US for a hundred bucks. 😭
Bad luck old mate. So many stories of nails and screws on the roads in the big cities. Never had such a puncture down this way.
BF Goodrich make tyres in France. Perhaps that's where ours came from? Authentic French rubber trees . Hand carved by Pierre and his small family.

That’s a dream…, my BF are produced in Alabama, USA
The first Code at the DOT tell you:
USA:
• BE – Tuscaloosa, Alabama
• BF – Opelika, Alabama
• AN – Ardmore, Oklahoma
• B6 – Woodburn, Indiana

Kanada:
• EK – BFGoodrich-Werk in Waterville, Nova Scotia
Mexiko:
• DOT B9 – Werk in Querétaro, Mexiko

So I will not pay 25 or more % additional, if need switch to European brand.

Only 16,000km on it. 3 screws close together and can’t be repaired apparently. Agggh. You’d have to think some prick has been scattering them on the road ffs.

And there’s no KO2’s in a 265/70-17 around at the moment, so it’s a KO3 on the back as a spare.

$465 down the drain.

A tyre fitter once told me that 4x4's are more likely to pick up punctures... reason being...

Road debris including screws and nails tend to collect in potholes and around the edges of drain covers etc. A 4x4 driver is more likely to just drive through these versus a hatchback driver who will drive around them.

There may be some truth in that, maybe not.

Added a few items over last few days. Rotopax holders by DVA Mechanics, along with their Hi Lift ladder holder. Nearly finished subwoofer and redarc trailer brake controller. Just finishing up cleanup of wires and bare wood.
