Ran back up to Silverton and the Alpine Loop again today , My son and Wife wanted to check out the Alpine Loop in winter and also see Silverton Mountain Ski Resort as well. It always fun when you get to see there Bell Helicopter land.

On the way back I had to rescue a Jeep 4xe who had stuck the nose into snow bank, start of the trail really was packed snow to really ice coming out of Silverton where they were, one of Silverton ski patrol tried pulling them out with a strap, but ultimately with a little bit of digging and using traction boards on the rear wheels I drove them out of bank. I was happy I did not have to winch them out, One thing it has been while since I was in Jeep, the cabin is small, I did not really like the layout when I was trying to find the lockers. When I drove Jeeps it was CJ6's

The Grenadier had no issue with that section of the trail now later with snowier sections with it's K02's

Took a trip to the dealer and got my service due reset and picked up spare tire storage. Fitted that and tossed the tow strap and shackles in. Not long after got to test its convenience and exercise the Gren with pulling the fwd Amazon van up my driveway.

Had a blast with some incredible folks just several hours ago. Red Noland of Colorado Springs set up the first event of 2025..."Ineos Grenadier 2025 Winterfest"!

Thom Buckley, Co Owner of Red Noland dealerships, puts on these events to build a sense of community, learn some things, and bottom line have a blast!

We had nine Grenadiers for the run and enjoyed every minute of it. Thom had moved a bit ahead and set up a lunch spot where we had a campfire and ate delicious chili and cornbread with hot cider!

Enjoy!

Looks like a great event. I purchased my Grenadier from Red Noland and was wondering if their owner events would be any good. I will definitely sign up for a future edition.

Looks great, but I think the light grills maybe on the wrong sides. If they're the ebay ones I've been looking at, then the straight edge is on the outside and rounded on the inside.
Good spot. I have mine orientated as you describe.

Was my first time off-road with my Grenadier and a perfect event to learn how to use my buttons and toggle switches. Many thanks to Thom and Red Nolan for an outstanding event! We also met many great people of like minds and look forward to new adventures.

OWL Talons, Scottish White, 17" with upsized KO2s. Actually drives better with the offset change of the Talon Wheels (Less wondering in the lane)...recommend!

Snow here now, so doing some project on the truck, Rival Radius Arm skid plates showed up, Have the rears on. I wish I had the fronts when I installed the engine/transmission skid, you reuse the crossbar long bolt for both. Put the back skid plates on for now.

IMG_0960.jpeg

My Crossbar was tight between the frame, and spacer they provide never fit, so they need a little bit persuasion to get both sides to fit, but it nice to have them installed now.

I am also planning on installing the Racing Optics Windshield Defense Film this afternoon. Looking forward to see how this works out.

I finally bought one! I had cancelled my reservation back in 2023 but after seeing more and more Grenadiers on the street I was starting to feel left out.

I went for a long drive up into the Sierras. The car drove well in the snow and was a little mountain goat. It could use a heated windshield and headlight washers, but apart from that I was impressed with it as a winter car. It has a few problems, almost all of which are caused by bad software design and should be fixable.

The good: fun to drive, felt safe in a snowstorm, heating worked ok, plenty of power, got compliments from random people on how cool my car is.

The not so good: ADAS is trash and kept going into fault mode, TPMS warnings fluctuated between high/low pressure alerts as the temperature changed, other known quirks like the keyfob rape alarm and the paranoiac low fuel warning...

It is cut for the Grenadier windscreen.
Thanks! I checked their website but didn’t see it listed there. I suppose I have to give them a call. I do like the idea as you know Colorado roads are notoriously horrid for pitting, chips, and cracks….ask me how I know….lol

I saw Tint World up by you also installs it.
Thanks just found it! Seems pretty easy to install with two folks. They have a 20% off coupon HOLIDAY20 so I just purchased one! I have never used this product before but figured I would give it a shot! Thanks again for posting it up!

Mike :)

Just ordered. Any tips or tricks for the install?
Have a friend help with two step ladders, watch the video before you install it, do not be in hurry, remember to overlap you squeegee actions, also spray windscreen and film until they fully wetted out before applying. have good lighting as well.
