What did you do with your Grenadier today?

24’ Inky Trialmaster from Mossy in Houston. Lifted and 35 Toyo RT Trail on Owl Talons! Fox steering stabilizer, AO tire relocation bracket. Limo tint and snorkel delete replaced with American flag plate.

Will do a build post at some point.

She’s takes a steady hand and concentration on sweeping turns at above 70 (for reference, I've had lifted 1st and 2nd gen Gwagons, lifted 392… the lifted IG is maybe the most handful at speed, but not by much). Good thing we have a GLS for long family hauls.

I’m all too familiar with the term bonnet (LR’s, you know). I just couldn’t figure out bonnet handle. Now I get it, but what replace it with something from Owl ?!

Their rear door latch seems like a nice billet aluminum piece and I think that approach would be a fine replacement for the existing hood release.

With that offset and tire width combination, if it is a handful at speed, you may want to have the alignment reevaluated and/or the factory stabilizer reinstalled. It should feel more planted than stock.

With all the leaks and water infiltrations, it wouldn't be a sub for long ;-)

I got the boat on the lake this weekend. Discovered the software won't report less than 8.8 mpg. With the grades up to the mountains, I spent a lot of time pinned at "8.8" mpg.

We all know the bonnet is under the hood between the wings which are also under the fenders and the boot is in the trunk. Not sure how many gallons are in the petrol tank which is under the gas flap.

45 is really high. Look at a tire load chart. Remember that you went from an LT Metric to LT Flotation

According to the load table, a LT265/70R17 @ 40psi give a load limit of 2075lbs. A 35x12.50R17LT @ 30psi has a load limit of 2155lbs.
So, as long as you are above 30psi, you are safe. Anything above 30psi is there for you to adjust for handling, ride, additional loads, etc.

Re- visited where we got married. Where the Grenadier is parked. In Scotland you can get married anywhere, provided the Registrar can or is prepared to make it there.

I love these beautiful wooden gates that can be found all over the UK. We had one custom made to our measurements at Duncombe Sawmill. We then bought chairs, a bench and a table there. A friend then collected the items for me with his lorry. I can highly recommend the company.
