Yes NAS 90.

Atlanta US. When you buy a 87k$ car and things don’t work it’s not worth the effort and time managing topics with a dealership 130miles away on corrective actions... When you have an old car this is what you expect…
Hey everyone has right to opinion. I only question, why you would join forum that was designed to provide support to Grenadier, to b*tch you spent 87k for car that you hate. Then you say that at 87k the vehicle should be perfect. Why didn't you wait until year 3 or 4 for all the kinks to be worked out?

And problem lies where, I think it checks off all your boxes and it's low mileage.
Used G wagons prices are just ridiculously over inflated imo. The newer ones have the same electronics as other Mercs. Mercedes reliability is 27th out of 32 for all car brands (repairpal.com).

The G wagen is a shell of its former live axle self. The articulation is terrible, the undercarriage has loads of exposed electronics, the front and rear clearance is okay but with plastic bumpers, with a sensitive, fancy electronic suspension. The tiny tires on 18 inch wheels are laughable. Despite being almost entirely road oriented now, it body rolls like a dump truck. Mercedes reliability is currently terrifying, though it's probably mechanically pretty tough other than the IFS components and lack of protection.

Because I hoped that modern engineering prevailed. Having placed my initial order like many in 09/21 i expected more. I'm a Brit with 3 land rovers living in the US. If anyone wanted a success story for a British company it would be me. Unfortunately, after driving 18miles and in those 18miles we stopped 3 times to correct and understand multiple yellow warning lights thats a criteria to b*tch you are dam’n right. It’s supposed to be a functional vehicle…

Has this car the software update? There should be no warnings, unless there is a problem.

I was wondering the same thing. I’ve had mine the same length of time, driven it most days and the only warning light I’ve seen is for the front camera, but that’s silent and the same thing my previous car would do if I hit glare. I’ve also never accidentally hit the panic button so can’t really speak to that.

To be fair, the ignition does not illuminate at night and while I’m used to it, that seems like an oversight. Hardly a deal breaker for me.

One typically should contemplate such issues before signing a contract or making a high dollar purchase of this type. I am pretty sure there are not many here who believe, or read, that Ineos would at any time provide food and lodging, or towing, for any purchaser of a Grenadier for any reason what so ever.
I have been following the Grenadier project for more than three years now with much enthusiasm. It was not until I believe August or September that the dealers were revealed and prior to that we had no idea of their locations. We were also told that their would be a number of authorized service centers to take care of service and warranty issues and as of now they have not been revealed. I have not signed a contract as of now but do have a reservation.
When I made the statement about food and lodging I was joking and DO NOT expect that.
I was also hoping that the Grenadier would be road ready without the gremlins that we are reading about and hopefully these issues will be resolved shortly!
I do agree with you that it is prudent to contemplate all of the issues prior to signing a contract and I guess that this forum is giving us that opportunity.
With much sincerity I do appreciate your input.

Hi Nick
Sorry your experience has not been what you expected. I too was thinking that with the most modern factory and a skilled workforce, we wouldn't be seeing so many 'basic' issues as we are doing. As for yourself, I really can't see how you can judge a vehicle in such a short time. I would wager that regardless of the money you spend, any manufacturer is capable of producing a lemon. Perhaps that is what you got, though I would guess the fault is actually your impatience. You know full well of the problems that Land Rover 90's are capable of showing, but for those of us that own one, we get on with it.
Best of luck with whatever you choose going forward.

So did my 3 year old, and he keeps making sure it still works. I do wish there was more of a delay though, 3 seconds or so. But hey, at least I know it’s still there when the alarm goes off.

If Ineos is smart, they will work out bugs quickly. Not leave drivers stranded years later like Ford has with the Bronco fiasco. Ford can get away with it, Ineos cannot.

What were the warnings? Only thing I have seen is where it warns you of the lack of lane keeping/speed assistance when on a sub-standard road. You can turn that off if you'd like.

You should be able to bring your Grenadier to any shop you like for warranty or service work.

There is some 12K mile service that might have to be done at the dealership, but that is in question right now.

In chatting with Triad and discussion of warranty work - of course any Ineos dealer can do the work. There was mention of being able to use any BMW dealer too. This was verbal communication, nothing in writing. But using a non-Ineos dealer may come with a hefty "deductible".
