I love my Grenadier!
I have had it just one week now, but my wife and I both love it. I had wanted a vintage Land Rover Defender for years, tried the new Defender for three months (a 90 P400), and am glad I now have the Grenadier.
For me, the steering feel and turning radius are non-issues. I had the Fox steering stabilizer installed, and the Grenadier tracks perfectly now on the highway. The turning radius is no worse than our full size pickup trucks. I feel it comes down to expectations. Pickup truck drivers will feel right at home.
The power is more than sufficient. It is not quite as powerful as my wife's GMC 6.2 liter V8, but it is not at all slow.
The fuel economy is about the same as my wife's Sierra 1500. So far, we are averaging about 18 MPG (not 15!). (By the way, my diesel Sierra 1500 averages about 26 MPG.)
The front seats are very comfortable, and the Grenadier is great fun to drive. (My wife wants to drive it more than her pickup truck, and she is a Texas gal who will drive nothing but a pickup truck!)
Finally, the appearance: it is astoundingly good looking. People turn and stare (and smile) wherever we go, and I cannot help a backward glance after parking it.
