First things first, they are working absolutely fine. So are the washers.

Did you by any chance have very cold weather up there last night? We had -5° down here, did they freeze overnight. I have screen wash for -15°. Being heated I wonder if the error occurred as it defrosted for some reason. Just pure speculation probably just an Ineos electrical gremlinFirst things first, they are working absolutely fine. Thanks, I’ll give this a go! Do I need to roll up a trouser leg and chuck some salt over my shoulder too? When I got this, I disconnected the -ve battery terminal, pressed the horn/brake pedal and reconnected the battery.
That cleared it.
Before you go to that trouble, ( of rolling the trouser leg up) have you checked " warnings" in the infotainment screen and cancelled it there. Thanks, I’ll give this a go! Do I need to roll up a trouser leg and chuck some salt over my shoulder too?
The reason to hit the horn etc is to fully discharge the circuitry. It's a pretty standard reset for most cars, pretty much does the same thing as CtrlAltDel on a pc.Thanks, I’ll give this a go! Do I need to roll up a trouser leg and chuck some salt over my shoulder too?
Had the exact same - frozen wiper blades to screen, which caused the message. This happened while I was fitting the drivers side grab handle yesterday morning (Cost £120).First things first, they are working absolutely fine. So are the washers.

Have you tried clearing it in the warnings in the settings menu?Ok so I've got the wiper error light on (frozen windscreen after parking overnight in rain then big freeze) whats the consensus is it disconnected pos for 30 sec or can it be rectified via stalk button ?
I haven't had that warning, but I have cleared other warnings that way, but had to clear the service indicator warning via the stalk button but it reappeared after ignition turn on again until serviced by the dealer. Can't seem to highlight it to clear was trying earlier can you advise how you did it thx
