First things first, they are working absolutely fine. So are the washers.

How do I get rid of this error message?

Did you by any chance have very cold weather up there last night? We had -5° down here, did they freeze overnight. I have screen wash for -15°. Being heated I wonder if the error occurred as it defrosted for some reason. Just pure speculation probably just an Ineos electrical gremlin

Thanks.

It was cold (-6 at 7am), though the Ineos was in my shed. Wipers weren’t stuck on the screen due to frost or anything like that.

When I got this, I disconnected the -ve battery terminal, pressed the horn/brake pedal and reconnected the battery.
That cleared it.
Thanks, I’ll give this a go! Do I need to roll up a trouser leg and chuck some salt over my shoulder too? 🤣

Before you go to that trouble, ( of rolling the trouser 👖 leg up) have you checked " warnings" in the infotainment screen and cancelled it there.
The other thing to try, treat it as a service reminder warning. vis a) when running, highlight the warning using the end button on the stalk b) select it again using the end button, then c) select any option on the main screen ie home, offroad, audio or phones. That stops the service reminder but it reappears at the next ignition on.

Great thanks, I’ll give it a go. This is the first error I’ve had in exactly a year of ownership (to the. Try day!) so I’ve never had to wipe one before 😂

The reason to hit the horn etc is to fully discharge the circuitry. It's a pretty standard reset for most cars, pretty much does the same thing as CtrlAltDel on a pc.

Had the exact same - frozen wiper blades to screen, which caused the message. This happened while I was fitting the drivers side grab handle yesterday morning (Cost £120).

I reset, by disconnection the main battery for 30 seconds. I then get another message which I cleared with a 10 second disconnect. On 2nd power up - had locker messages flashing - moved vehicle and all fine.

I've had this error for a couple weeks now. No cold weather when it started (single digits but not freezing). It's been the only one I've gotten that didn't clear on the next cycle.

Glad to get some trouble shooting tips from you guys. Seems this board always has something when you need it.
