I got a big warning from my dealer that the early arrivals will be held to do software updates, inspection, etc. He said at least a month. Elsewhere (on the forum) someone said 6 weeks!
I can't remember if I posted this in here or not, last I spoke with Ineos the hope was that they would be updated before getting on the boat, that was about 2 weeks ago... Of course, Ineos Automotive US has little actual pull with the factory in France, so, we'll find out when they arrive port-side what the actual status is.

If that isn't the case, and you figure there will be 500 vehicles in the first "off load" (I'm using 500 as it is a nice rounded figure), and the software update takes ~30 minutes per vehicle, at 3 ports (evenly distributed), that's ~10 days (8hrs per day, 1 person, 1 vehicle at a time) to get them updated.

Of course, this means that some can get sent to dealers while others are still updating

A little frustrated.... can't find my VIN (7367) on any of the lists. Reference numbers 2401 and 2402 are filling and they have trucks in the 8000s. Test driving in Boston on Saturday. Hopefully, they have the resources to find my truck.
Did the dealer give you the VIN number or Ineos?

Did you go to the dealer and sign the contract and put down another deposit?
No, have not been asked by Red Noland to sign anything nor put a further deposit. Nor has my original deposit been credited back to me (as far as I know). My vehicle is on the Morning Chant (I discovered by leveraging all the good research others did or I would have had no idea I could track it down), arriving in SoCal on 11/6.

Actual response from my sales rep last Friday (10/27/23) was: "Good Morning INEOS Sales Team! While we know everything is very fluid and often seemingly in a constant state of flux with Grenadier orders. the portal used to show a "Build Date" and now shows "ETA", that ETA date is when the vehicle should be on US soil at port NOT when we get them. There will be updates or necessary fixes done at port which will take some time. Due to this and some other factors, please add SIXTY DAYS to the ETA Date in the portal when speaking with clients."

I assume the portal they are referencing is internal to IG and their dealerships. And the software fixes done at port. Whatever else they do. Transport to the dealerships. Dealer installs. And whatever else. These are assumptions on my part as I don't believe anyone truly knows yet as these are the first vehicles. I welcome learning from others as well.

I just texted with my dealer - mine is scheduled to be at the port in CA on 12/23 I checked the vin and it is not on either of the two ships - he figures a month to prep before delivery after arrival

So, Morning Claire is headed to New York?
I thought it was bound for southern states only because my vehicle is on it and my dealer is in Plano Texas!
Oh well, better New York than Commiefornia. :)
First stop since leaving Zebrugge was Halifax, NS.
Next stop is NY.
Then headed to Brunswick, GA.

I have it on good authority that they’re going to be held for about 3 weeks or so. I’ll try and double check on that to see if it still holds.

Found mine on the Morning Chant with ETA into Port Hueneme on 11/7. Hoping for early December delivery at Warner in SLC.

Edit: From 5 minutes ago, looks like the MC is passing Guerrero State, about 1/2 way to Port Hueneme from Manta, Ecuador…starting to get really real 👌👍✅

My dealer told me the software updates were done at the factory before being shipped.

So mine is on the Morning Claire with a destination ETA of 11/06/23. Which port would that be? The dealer said Ineos told them to plan for up to a 60 day window to get it, I'm in Houston. Does that 60 day window seem reasonable or is it more of a worst case scenario? Anyone in the dealer world know the reality of the situation of when I could maybe expect? Given the US tax laws I'd really like to pay for it this year so I can deduct it's full value on my company taxes.

As of a few weeks ago that was the "hope", but if that actually happened (I haven't heard one way or the other since), that would be even better for all of you currently in transit as it means even faster port-to-dealer times!

I believe the Morning Claire is headed to GA

This is so awesome! Nice job searching this out. Looks like mine is due in Baltimore on 8th Nov! Gosh dang, I'm so excited, I almost can't contain it! Glad I have my 1:16 scale model to drive around my desk to hold me over for the next several weeks.
I don't get it when I type in any of the reference numbers I get no record found?
