I can't remember if I posted this in here or not, last I spoke with Ineos the hope was that they would be updated before getting on the boat, that was about 2 weeks ago... Of course, Ineos Automotive US has little actual pull with the factory in France, so, we'll find out when they arrive port-side what the actual status is.I got a big warning from my dealer that the early arrivals will be held to do software updates, inspection, etc. He said at least a month. Elsewhere (on the forum) someone said 6 weeks!
If that isn't the case, and you figure there will be 500 vehicles in the first "off load" (I'm using 500 as it is a nice rounded figure), and the software update takes ~30 minutes per vehicle, at 3 ports (evenly distributed), that's ~10 days (8hrs per day, 1 person, 1 vehicle at a time) to get them updated.
Of course, this means that some can get sent to dealers while others are still updating
