Also in the LC250 and 4Runner, I just can not drive a 4 cylinder engine even with Turbos and small hybrid system ( not happy about they picked heaviest battery tech Nickel based, ) , even with good 4 cylinder from Audi or BMW, every time they would give me loaner with 4 Cylinder and turbos car I felt like I had Hamster running on treadmill getting the engine going and they why they whine. Rather listen to two cycle motor. One positive LX550 other then melting Mirrors and possible that engine and transmission will be recalled like Tundra, it is a V6.
I guess the 4 runner best delta is windshield is not a upright, but here Colorado I see them cracked all the time on current trucks, but it also selectable 4wd so you can drop to 2 wheel when it is summer time driving, but you still have Hamster up front like LC250. I like the 4runner aka 2024 and older 4 but they were just to underpowered for the the Mountains were I live, I go up in friend of mine to Purg with him when we ski together, it just chugs in thin atmosphere, Still great looking truck. It is also the official Truck of Durango there are everywhere here, and the car of choice is Subaru.
This where the Grenadier is so much better at running up in the mountains from 6,000 - 11,000 feet rolling up Hwy 550, for a tubby tank, it can really accelerate when you have to, also have to watch how heavy your foot gets.
