Well... I can only recommand to either try nimbus or fournales = oleopneumatic tech. In day to day ride there is a huge difference. The harder the terrain gets, the bigger you'll measure the improvements.I think it should be noted, the stock units do quite a nice job. I don’t think the vast majority of reserve res shocks like king are doing a damn thing they were made for on these rigs, other than looking nice and machined. They have become a weird status symbol. How many grens are doing high speed running or are swingin’ 40”ers on the rubicon?
I wasn’t critical of the oly units, I know they make a tremendous difference. I’m referring to how good the stick units are when compared to high end standard shocks, that, if not under hard use, the owners aren’t really getting the primary benefit they are paying for. If you’re more the typical user, and adventure wheeler, the rerun on investment is in the Oly style units.Well... I can only recommand to either try nimbus or fournales = oleopneumatic tech. I know... No worry. What I mean is even if you don't use your IG for hard offroad you'll have a more comfortable ride.I wasn’t critical of the oly units, I know they make a tremendous difference. I’m into Mgb’s. I don’t need to switch…I know... No worry. What I mean is even if you don't use your IG for hard offroad you'll have a more comfortable ride.
I'm thinking upgrading my more classic cars with those shocks.
