Stuck in Namibia !

Havent tried on this one but Sean at Harwoods looked up a part based on a screen grab from a forum photo, sent back a screen shot of the parts catalog to confirm. Part now ordered. Top (almost ex) dealer :(

Nice. Do you have the parts catalog screen shot or part number?

oops, yes think you are right.
Yep - the point was there are dealers that will help, even when you are not sure what you want. The screenshot didnt show pno's, its like an exploded CAD diagram. I guess things had to move on from the days when I worked in a dealers stores with a microfiche machine.

Harwoods are my local agent (or were....). I agree Sean is excellent. When you come to get the bracket arm fitted where will you go? Is it worth us getting both done together somewhere? Thanks

Here we go but this is only for the Drivers side

The stabilizer bar is £26.66 + Vat

The nut is £0.46 + Vat

The radiator bracket is £90.27 + Vat

Those top and bottom brackets look different to the early

UK iterations of the grenadier. The bottom support bar is what you need though. I attach some pictures and hopefully you can make out that bolt head that attaches the bar to the bottom part of the bumper is Sandwiched between the radiator support bracket and the bottom of the bumper. To aid tightening of the fixings the passed the bolt through the bumper from above and welded in place. Hope this makes sense.
Fourth photo shows bottom bracket and bumper before the support bar was added. You’ll notice gorilla glue dripping off of the rubber grommets as this was one of my early attempts at fixing the problem.

Have to ask logsplitter and Anne if they had bars fitted both sides
Bars fitted both sides. Not a recall although I would pushing the fact that sooner or later when doing some rough washboard tracks it’s going to cause a problem if you don’t have the support bars added.

Will have to search deeper haven’t given up yet they are fitted to US&AUS Though so there must be a left and right.

Help from our Antipodean , Southern African and American friends may be required for this one. As U.K. and far as I’m aware European vehicles are not fitted with this part then maybe someone from these regions could go into their friendly dealership and get the part number 🤔.
Do the latest European vehicles have different mounting brackets or the additional support bars fitted to them 🤔

Hope fully more substantial mount brackets in the first place than the original vehicles

It’s totally unacceptable that a car supposedly built for purpose is missing components like this, the mind boggles
I hope over the next couple of years Ineos get their act together
