Installed an aluminum storage bin over the wheel well. Picked it up on Amazon but available on eBay as well. It was pricey at $300 shipped but I’m very pleased with the quality and fit. Less stuff flying around the rear now… can still lash things down using the MOLLE panel design, it would seem.

Came fully assembled. 5 minute install - you simply replace the tie downs with supplied hardware. Done.

My bison gear shelf that mounts to the roof arrives Friday…….

I raised the driver and passenger seats.

I'm 180 (5.9), my driver's seat was pumped up quite high to sit comfortably. So I built a spacer out of WPC (wood plastic composite) that gives me more storage space of 2 cm in height under the seats.






Don't try this at home, I have no idea if it's legal or safe!

And I think my self-made holder for the fire extinguisher is closer to the seat frame than the original (more legroom).

Its a Dolmar, (owned by Makita) the scabbard is Stihl... Well spotted! Handy little saw actually.

I think it's the same as my 18v Makita model just from the looks (different colour obviously) and the oil filler location. I too am super happy with my saw

I have been toying with the Grill for some time and finally, I have wrapped the above and below white sections to extend the height of the grill to give it more of the old Defender look...the chrome strips will stay there for the moment, they still look ok because they line up with the headlight surrounds, top and bottom...I think it toughens up the front end but so many variations could be had...if it were a darker colour and I had the gloss black roof, I would look at a gloss black grill and headlight surrounds...for that matter, it probably would work here...back to the photoshop

But hey, I don‘t really care.
Carefully place the sticker on the side and took measures.


After removing the base foil it looked like this.
