This is what I'm also using, have a >10cm crack resulting from a large chip at the upper edge of the windscreen (passenger side). Step-by step repair with this stuff from the far end towards the original point of impact.

As reported here, it lasts almost 10.000km now, no sign of slightes increase in length.

I don't see any good reason to replace it, although I have a screen on the shelf I was lucky enough to get for 400EUR...

Not an invitation for our antipodean friends to photograph their arses but rather our windscreens.

I saw a thread on one of the Facebook groups where it seems a common occurrence for a mystery crack to appear in the middle of the bottom edge of the screen. 5 or 6 people reported the exact same thing.

I wasn’t aware of a stone chip but I jumped in one day and saw immediately a 3-4” curving crack that actually follows the shape of the wiper pattern. It’s grown and grown but screen is being replaced tomorrow.
Anyone on here had this?

Here’s mine.
It continues to grow. No windshields in Southern California available. Dealership says they are stuck in customs.

I’ve been waiting since March 31 still no windscreen. Check with the dealer and no delivery date. Dealer has made multiple inquiries. My vehicle will be Red Carded Saturday as it will not pass safety inspection. It’s beyond frustrating the dealerships can’t even get answers. 24-48Hours as promised is a long way from a month.

Can they call some US dealers to check if they have any?

Can't you get the aftermarket versions?

No they can’t call or no there is no stock in the US? You can always call a few US dealers yourself.
No they “won’t” call. I’ll be contacting a few close USA dealers to see if there’s stock tomorrow at this point. Unbelievable that after a month of waiting there’s still no glass from a company like Pilkington Glass.
It seems Ineos likes to create frustration at every opportunity. Calling customer service is a circular game of nonsense. All they do is call the dealership, and the dealership calls me to tell me the same thing. “No glass” the level of non customer service is just beyond comprehension. If the dealer doesn’t have the glass, why would customer service reach out to them. They just can’t seem to get their act together.

You also might try a little further away - seems like Colorado, Utah and Idaho dealers have good service departments and are smart about stock - but not a huge surprise since those are all in the Mountain States and they actually know something about 4x4’s and overlanding. “Alberta South.”
