Hi All,
The base lights are decent, but I want a little more, of course.
After having beams out to 1.1km on my past vehicle, I think this is a bit overkill and am leaning more towards a simple bar like the Stedi Pro 18.6 mounted using the hex bar mounts.

Given the limitations on space with the roo bar, I was curious to see what solutions everyone has found, availability in Australia please.

I did a quick search and saw the 20inch Lightforce solution, but wanted to see what others have found that works.

Feel free to inspire!

Narva EX2 20” dual row.

There’s also this……

That thread shows a single and double Lightforce Viper bar fitted, with all the parts used as well.

The single row Viper can can use the 10 amp circuit (Engine Bay 1), the double row would need the 25 amp circuit (Engine Bay 2).

In NSW the lightbar must be below the hoop, not on top or in front of the hoop. Same applies in WA.

My review of the 20 inch Viper after and Outback trip here.

I’ve had a Narva lightbar added underneath the roof rack, and my last sojourn up to Expedition HQ I had this second lightbar added. After seeing how Doc had his hung below the too crossbar, I thought it’d look good mounted on the bumper under the lower crossbar. It fit perfectly. Very happy with that install.

That’s a nice look. What model/dimensions is that one?
Did you bolt directly into the base plate below?

It looks like an Australian made NITRO Maxx 155W 18″ LED Light bar. One of the brands I was looking at, here.

The mounting brackets look like they have been turned inwards on Snipewench's car, compared to this diagram where they point outwards. The Ultra Vision does offer different mounting options, being "Base Mounts", "Side Mounts" (those 2 are on the last drop down menu) and a "Number plate" bracket). Last option might not fit due to the unusual bumper design of the IG and QM.

Thanks all,
I went with the Stedi 18.4 inch twin row, it matched nicely to the car. I couldn't stomach the huge price difference to step up to the Evo, but I must say it looks good too.
Whilst I could mount direct to bar and under the lower tube, the top install was easier and still looked ok to me.

Captured some images
- Low beam
- High beam (lights only)
- High beam, auxiliary on with Stedi
The iPhone does a good job of enhancing the without image, but the difference is still clear. While the bar does not have the long distance throw (~660m) of my old spotties the Stedi Type X Pro (~1,100m), it does a really good job of flooding the sides and main area. Overall, I think more effective for most situations, I drive a lot pre-dawn and night for my adventures and this should give coverage for wildlife on roadsides.

I used the Ineos-specific harness (easy to install and links to the Auxillary light switch and high beam) and mounting brackets.

Install time was ~2hours, and half of this was me faffing around avoiding removing the whole grill assembly for install and routing of wiring harness.
Youtube here for harness install from Stedi. I was able to remove only the RHS light cover and the plate which the bonnet support is connected too..... getting my hands into the grill was a nightmare, but I pulled it off..... I have big hands, but thankfully skinny wrists!
In most cases following the instructions and pulling the grill would be easier/similar time...... usual story.

HIghbeam, no Aux or Stedi (iPhone enhanced)

And With Stedi (Aux lights by default too). Iphone... well from my perspective it did not enhance this one!
