Builder is booked in for 3rd week of June and removalists for 4th week.
Snooker table will be back in play first week of July

A lovely garden Dave.

The only downside I can see to your new shed (I would chew my own arm off for something like that), is the loss of the view out the back.

Hopefully you have other views to admire though.

Scratch that comment about the view out the back, you don’t need it. Lots of nicer views out the front and it looks like you have your own zoo on the doorstep as well

This was last winter in the backyard. A big male standing behind the Grenadier.
We have a couple of hundred kangaroos that wander around the neighbourhood

Conversely the goannas tend to be around the back yard in the warmer months.

Plenty of birds, turtles, dolphins and other wildlife close by.

Ok. the builders arrived on site this afternoon Sunday 23rd June 2024.
They are camping down the back and ready to start at 6am.
They tell me 5-6 days straight to get it done.

My wife has advised that she requires me to build a bar inside the shed.
I have decided I would like to dedicate the bar area to the Grenadier.

Surprise surprise.

So if any members of the forum would like to contribute with something I can add to the bar, or mount on the wall, I would be extremely grateful.

9:30 am on the first day of the build and the posts are all up.
Bit of a cold start for the boys and typical winters day.
Got down to 9 degrees last night and has finally made it up to 17 on the way to a max of 22 degrees.

Any tiny little token will be greatly appreciated.
This whole Grenadier journey has been fantastic.
A huge part of this has been the forum.
A couple of years ago I was stuck in Andermatt Switzerland with Covid and it was members of the Forum that kept in touch with me and helped.
This entire project of building the shed has been about the Grenadier.
I have no idea when my first post was but it has been a journey.

It must have been hell on earth being stuck in as SIX STAR resort Dave, but I know what you mean.

When COVID kicked off and the world decided to close, a work colleague arrived in India for a holiday and couldn’t get back, he was stuck in a luxury hotel for weeks, the poor sod had to endure sharing the hotel and sitting around a pool with a whole other family.

Admittedly he wasn’t ill though.

Unfortunately I caught COVID in May and was very sick.
I damaged my throat and tore the muscles in my side and stomach from severe coughing.
