Banish the reversing camera glare. A pair of identical shrouds attach over the stock license plate light lenses using replacement stainless steel screws. It reduces the spread of the license plate light so that it does not reach the reverse camera from either side. This improves the reverse...

- will they attach without glue, drilling and so on? So could be removed again?
- Any ideas with German regulations, will the plate be bringt enough not to get into trouble?
You know, we Germans love it complicated and strict, when it comes to rules...

Yes, they attach without glue or drilling. The covers attach using the same screw holes that hold the plate lights. The kit (in forum store) includes stainless steel replacement screws that are longer length but otherwise identical to the original screws.

Many people in Germany have used this kit or 3Dprinted it themselves. None have reported a problem. The plate is still very well lit.

These are made and shipped from the USA, if you order a couple of the other items from the store then they can all be shipped in the same package the store software. (the store software compounds the shipping and you get a manual refund of the balance).

There are also a few other options for these on the market now from various locations and at varying price points.
