I don't know which is which, but some 3D printer media is not particularly UV friendly.I've done it so it's 100% plastic , going to cost £2
Yeah petg does degrade but it's not under any high stresses or loads , so should be fine , it's also one of the better ones for chemical resistance.I don't know which is which, but some 3D printer media is not particularly UV friendly.
can I also order a pair for my wife Scottyboy436?Yeah petg does degrade but it's not under any high stresses or loads , so should be fine , it's also one of the better ones for chemical resistance.
But if they do fail , I have no issues of replacing , can always do it with a nother material

I have been looking at messing about with moulds , this would probably be a good project for it. I would do a pair in black asa but I don't think I have any.Just for reference, the ones sold on the forum store are printed from PA6 (Nylon) with Carbon Fiber chop additive. The CF adds a nice dark black finish that does very well in UV.
I am testing ASA black as well (which does very well in UV), but that changes to a greenish/black color in direct sunlight.
