I don't know which is which, but some 3D printer media is not particularly UV friendly.

Yeah petg does degrade but it's not under any high stresses or loads , so should be fine , it's also one of the better ones for chemical resistance.

But if they do fail , I have no issues of replacing , can always do it with a nother material

Just for reference, the ones sold on the forum store are printed from PA6 (Nylon) with Carbon Fiber chop additive. The CF adds a nice dark black finish that does very well in UV.

I am testing ASA black as well (which does very well in UV), but that changes to a greenish/black color in direct sunlight.

I have been looking at messing about with moulds , this would probably be a good project for it. I would do a pair in black asa but I don't think I have any.

Just trying abs-x if that doesn't work I'll try asa-x

I would wrap them and put them under the tree for the management but on second thoughts I'll just pop out and fit them now!
