As some of you may have seen already I got pranged by a Land Rover two weeks ago. Snowy/icy, I stopped, he couldn’t and we bashed front corners.

Truck was recovered to an “approved repairer”, note it’s not an Ineos dealer or service centre.

It’s sat there ever since because the bodyshop are struggling to put an estimate together because, allegedly, they can’t get confirmation on parts availability and prices from Ineos.

Anyone else had this problem? I was assuming any parts would be available within a week or two at most and don’t see why Ineos can’t provide costs against a bill of materials.

So frustrating

As a ex panel beater who ran my own repair shop for a while that doesn’t sound good.
If the repair shop can’t even get pricing the actual parts will probably take considerable time
Just pray that prices aren’t like many manufacturers these days who are so high it makes repairs economically unviable
I hope your insurance company has provided a loan car until your car is repaired
All the best and watching this space closely.
Please keep us up to date with how it goes and how long parts take to arrive

Have you called an Ineos dealership and ask them for the part availability of a front quarter panel?

While asking about the front guard add indicators, bar, bar end and mounts, flair, cooler, grill and headlight surround plus all associated clips, brackets and fixing components
